Decent action camera; lots of fun to use

For context: I'm a long term (professional) stills photographer, but this is my first action camera - and, in fact, my first video-oriented camera.
When first turning the camera on, it needed to connect to a network and run an upgrade before first use, but didn't have enough battery to run that update. So, you should allow a couple of hours charge the battery before turning it on for the first time. The battery/card compartment door, especially to start with, is *extremely* stiff, and I bent back a fingernail opening it before getting the knack. The basic pack ships without the necessary Micro SD card; I put in one I had lying around but had errors on turning on each time because the card wasn't fast enough for all recording modes. No problem; it wasn't expensive to order a fast 128 GB SanDisk card.
Those teething problems out the way, the camera's very easy to use. The touch screen is extremely responsive and I found the menus and functions intuitive to navigate. (I had, however, reviewed a couple of YouTube 'how to' videos before receiving the camera). The little camera is robust and definitely has no problem at all with heavy rain showers or light submersion.
While it only came with one clip to hold it (presumably to save waste with those who are upgrading), there are many, many reasonably priced accessories for attaching the camera anywhere you could think of for good views of the action. It has a small sensor, and as such struggles in lower light conditions. However, in good light it produces vibrant, sharp footage at high resolutions. The stabilisation is absolutely fantastic, with the camera producing images free from jolts and shakes even when running.
I've so far used the camera to produce TimeWarp (moving time lapse) , 30 fps and 60 fps footage whilst running and cycling of up to 40 minutes at a time, with the battery lasting at least that long, and no signs at all of overheating (a number of tests I've watched by YouTubers suggest there is no overheating issue in typical use as long as there is airflow over the camera). I've also shot some short slow-motion clips at 120 fps and 240 fps, and am really impressed by the results.
So, in good light and whilst moving, this is an absolutely fantastic little camera and I'm 100% sure I'm going to continue having a lot of fun with it.
