SUPER SOOTHING ITCH RELIEF CREAM

At my age postmenopausal, dryness and itching is a real problem, but this stuff is very good, almost instantly it works, if your still suffering after using this, id say you may have a underlying problem like thrush, i use this every day, a thin layer in the morning and no irritating all day, highly recommended, i will buy more

This is an anaesthetic/pain killer gel, not a treatment...so it’ll stop things hurting/itching for a bit but it won’t sort out the root cause of the problem.
Still, does what it does effectively.

I sometimes get a little bit of contact dermatitis on the back of my hand when doing too much washing or using chemicals etc

It itches and no amount of various moisturising creams I`ve tried work that well in the short term, this stuff however is great for immediate temporary relief.

I am a man so haven`t actually needed it for "downstairs" - it works for me though as it`s difficult to find many OTC local anaesthetic products.

I have suffered a few yeast infections this year and always used the non-branded cream from pharmacy however I much prefer vagisil. The cream is thicker and works very quickly. Sometimes the itching can be unbearable but this gets to work rapidly. It can be quite messy at times but that’s to be expected! Definitely reccomend!! Always handy to have in the drawer just in case.

Always a hit and miss with this product. Sometimes it's really helpful and sometimes it does nothing at all for me. Still worth a try and to have incase. When it did help it helped with dry skin and irritation from thrush or nappy rashes after periods.

Allergic reaction - please read below as a precaution!

I bought when product for some severe itchiness and irritation (unsure on cause) so I thought I would give this a go.

When I first applied the creme (externally as instructed) I felt a warm burning sensation for a short period but I didnt think anything of it as sometimes it happens before a product starts working. Much to my relief is stopped any itching for approx 2 hours where I started feeling it again. I know the product says apply 3-4 times daily but that's when using a 3-5cm and I was only using a pea sized amount so I reapplied it again every 2-4 hours (over a 20 hour period - less during the night) depending on when I started to feel irritated again. But I seemed to feel a little more irritated than before but I was so set on relief I thought nothing of it.

Not until I used a mirror to have a look when I felt like things were still pretty bad and I realised I had an intense redness (exactly where applied) and what looked like the possible beginnings of blistering from where I suspect I had an allergic reaction to it and it has kind of burned me.

I know you're probably thinking how did you not realise you were having an allergic reaction to a product?? Well I suspect that because this is a medicated creme and has numbing properties it was essentially numbing the irritation caused from the allergic reaction so I didnt suspect anything until it started feeling even worse when it would wear off and I decided to take a look.

I'm not saying everyone will have an allergic reaction to this product but please be super careful when using it if you're new to the product. Be sure to check your vaginal area before applying it so you can be sure of any visual changes after using it.

I read the product description for this and thought, surely tea tree oil isn't a good idea when you're putting this cream in such a delicate area but then I thought these guys are the experts so surely it will be fine. First time I applied this to my intimate area that was already irritated, ( hence me purchasing this cream,
), it burned like I'd used tabasco sauce on myself. I was just about to jump into the shower to rinse it off when thankfully the burning starred to subside into a warmth, and within 5 minutes or so even the warm feeling had gone away. I have used this daily and it is working and now that my skin is less irritated (hopefully thanks to this cream) when I apply it in the morning I still get a warmth off it but not the intense lava like burning of the first application. Overall I would say this cream does work but I wish they would have made it without the tea tree!
