The last product I’ll ever use.

So, I am a hair care snob. I spend a lot of money on the products that I put on my hair. I buy top shelf shampoo and conditioner as I have long blonde ringlets and I like to make sure they’re in good condition otherwise it goes fluffy and unmanageable. I’ve recently had my first child and while my hair was absolutely glorious before and during pregnancy, it’s taken a huge hit since giving birth because apparently your body pumps all the nutrients to your breast milk instead of your hair skin and nails. So my hair has been really dry and lifeless and my beautiful curls just had no spring/bounce. Then somehow this product came up in my recommended products on Amazon. I saw it, and saw the amount of good reviews on it so I did some research and I figured it’s fairly cheap so I’ll give it a go.. I didn’t have high hopes as like I said I’m a hair care snob. But after just a few days of using it I am so amazed at how good it is. I’ve got my beautiful hair back. It’s golden, shiny, soft and my curls are springy and not frizzy and brittle. I think I might have found the last product I’ll ever use. I genuinely wouldn’t say this if it weren’t true. But it’s amazing! And for the price it’s incredible. 100% worth it!

Just a warning. Having used the red version of this for years, I thought I’d try the coconut. I used it on both mine & my 10year old daughters hair. My daughter started having a scalp irritation which resulted in lots of itchy sore scabs over her scalp & I had one on one side. I took my daughter to the doctors as it was getting worse & they put her on two courses of antibiotics due to infection & it not clearing & referred her to a dermatologist. Having realised this was the one thing we’d both used, I compared the ingredients of both versions of this product (red & coconut). It was then that I realised there is an extra ingredient in the coconut one (can’t remember name?) which when researched, it stated that this can cause scalp irritation & even hair loss. We both stopped using it immediately & the symptoms started to slowly improve. It took 5 months to totally clear on my daughters scalp! Whilst I would definitely NOT recommend using the coconut, I can highly recommend the red version. Hope this helps!

Unpleasant smell

Bought to untangle and condition my 6 year old’s hair, had not believed the reviews that said the smell was too strong. Well it is, very strong, artificial and unpleasant, and I normally like smelly stuff. It did work to untangle but the smell is really horrible and I won’t be able to use again, waste of money. Should have bought coconut, she says she doesn’t like the smell but it can’t be worse than this!

I have used this product before and the similar coconut version but something is wrong with this one I recently purchased.
I am unable to use the product as It is a thick cream like substance and does not spray, it is all clogged up and gunky, so I’m am doubtful whether it is the true Revlon Product which is usually purchase from my hairdresser and is usually very good.

Love, love, love this!!! Oh my goodness, it's wonderful! I had been using the original red one for years, and love everything it does for my hair ... but this one, the smell is out of this world! Amazing, cannot live without this product! Detangles, softens, protects ... what more can you ask for! I also spray it directly into my hand, rather than onto my hair, and then rub it in, as this seems to save product and gives me more control over where it goes, rather than blindly spraying. Buy it, you won't regret it!

Hair feels ‘hairdresser good’ - even after 5 months of use!

This is the best hair product I have ever used for keeping my hair ‘hairdresser fresh’ at home. I’m not skilled at styling and looking after my hair, nor do I spend lots of time on it. But I like it to be in good condition. I find that most cheap hair products for smoothing frizz etc. work initially but then leave a sticky build up. However - this bottle has lasted me for 4-5months. I use it every other day and feel it leaves my hair gleaming, smooth and as soft as it feels after being at the hairdresser. I have tried many cheaper and more expensive products but none have been as good as this. And what a bargain!

This spray arrived with simple packaging and in perfect condition.

I have shoulder length / slightly longer fine hair which tends to start curling the longer it goes.
It can get very matted, and some days I look like Battersea need to take me in and clip all my hair off.
I have tried several detanglers with varying degrees of success, none of which I have been overly chuffed with.

This spray has rave reviews, and having tried it on one of my all matted up days I can see why. I used it on dry hair, after taking my bobble out and raking through my tangled hair. I gave it all a good spray then starting brushing it through.

What an improvement! So much easier, and took much less time than usual.
I then left it alone overnight - my hair needed washing and this spray made it look and feel quite lank (not the spray's fault, I used quite a lot of it).

Once thoroughly washed I followed the instructions and used much less. My hair definitely looks and feels so much better than before. I can't claim any magical results but it's looking less cottered, less flyaway and generally just feels better.
Plus it smells nice.
I will be using a gentle spray of this from now on, and it's great to know that any future neglected poodle-esque hair can be sorted.

Quite drying - do not use after every wash!

While this spray certainly detangled my hair, and made it super nice and sleek when blowdrying, it did dry my hair out a lot. Once I stopped using it as frequently as I was, my hair became more moisturised (with the help of hair masks and time).

I'd still use this for the one off blow dry, but if you're looking for a serum to use every time you wash your hair. I'd recommend a hair oil or something like that.

It was my hairdresser that introduced me to this product 5 years ago. I now swear by it.
My new hairdresser even asked me what I did to maintain my hairs condition. Now she's using & telling her customers about it.
The great thing is that you don't have to use alot, very little goes a looooooooong way. I use 2 to 3 sprays, depending on how my hair feels after I've washed it, then just brush it through & leave it in.
I find if I spray 4 times or more, my hair feels greasy. So would personally not spray more than 3 times & I've long hair, down to my shoulder blades when straightened.
Would recommend to everyone
