Nice intuitive and stylish lamp. Dreadful instructions -1 star

Beautiful design, rechargeable internal battery, and simple touch controls make this an ideal work or reading lamp. IT has good practical applications, thanks to the articulated stand and colour variations of light. Also, it has a useful memory function that keeps your last settings after it's turned off.
I would probably describe this as the ideal notebook work lamp because of the following features.
1- It will either run continuously or can be charged from a USB port
2- It will sit over a notebook and illuminate the keyboard and surrounding work area perfectly.
3- The lamp can provide a variety of brightness and white from a cold day to very warm orange
4- it does not get in the way and gives an ideal angle of use. See my photos.
The lamp is controlled by touch controls that are simple and intuitive to use. It also has a nice soft start and slow fade when turned off. The memory feature works automatically keeping your last colour and brightness settings when last used.
There is also a useful timer function. After turning the lamp on, touch the timer button once for a 30-minute timeout until off, or twice for a 60-minute timeout until off.
So, that's the lamp. The instruction sheet is absolutely hopeless. It tells you nothing about how to use it, or how the timer settings should be used. The instruction heading for "Charg indicator and use time" are nothing more than safety notices and "Assembly and Notice" is a repeat of the above. This is a pity because the lamp is actually very well built and stylish. Most people will figure out how to use it within 2 or 3 minutes, but poor instruction does detract rather from an otherwise good product.
