My old Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 is really good. I treated myself to this. Wow! Fast, fast, great size & aspect ratio, great battery life, great screen. 100% recommended, no debate. The split screen function turns it into a very small laptop. A game changer.

Read the fine print

I'm sure the tablet is fine, but the technical spec is wrong and contradicts the fine print (see attached). The 32GB comes with 3MB RAM/memory and not 4MB. I missed another review that highlighted this 2 weeks ago. Clearly, Amazon has not updated the page as implied in the additional comments of the one-star review.

I purchased this to replace an old IPad which I could not replace due to the shortage of iPads via Apple as the global shortage of processor chips bites. The resolution of the screen is excellent and the sound also good. Mine has the 64gig storage but it can be increased by adding a micro storage card. You can add a sim and use it as a phone. (I just use it via Wi-Fi). This runs rings around my old iPad also it’s a dam site cheaper than the £319 Apple wanted…. Would recommend to anyone who needs a good platform for viewing films/you tube etc.

After getting lots of replies from people who already bought it on amazon regarding my question of using the latest apps I decided to purchase it as my old one doesn't run the new workout JRNY app for the bowflex Cross trainer. Arrived yesterday and straight away works well, for this price and Technology with android 11 and expandable memory this is just perfect for what I need without breaking the bank as my Samsung s22 does everything else so don't really need a tablet. However it also plays my Netflix in the larger 10.5 inch screen with the quad speakers. Super buy at the price. Up and running in minutes.

I've seen a lot of reviews (YouTube, not Amazon) saying this tablet is only good for media streaming, end of story. But it's not as limited as people make it out to be.

The processor is alright. It's obviously not going to be beating Apple's M1/M2 or the latest Snapdragon or Exynos, but by no means is it a bad processor.

I bought it so I could use Cubasis for music production. So far, it's been fantastic. Mind you, it does take a while to initially set up. The first 30 minutes to an hour are spent installing apps, updates, and getting the cache kicked into operation. But once it does that, it works a charm for watching YouTube, streaming music, and Cubasis music production.

(It's not a good option, though, if you're gonna do digital art or graphic design. You'll have to get a third-party stylus and drawing gloves that don't register touch, since the S Pen will not work and resting your hand on the screen won't let you draw from a stylus tip.)

The build quality is quite nice. The body is made of metal. It feels cold to the touch and heavy in the hand, giving it a very premium feel.

The screen, despite being a TFT (LCD), the colors are pretty vibrant and the contrast is still quite alright (Samsung and their top-notch displays at work here).

The camera quality isn't superb, but it's perfectly fine for video calls with family, friends, work, etc. I haven't tested the mic, but I'd apply the same principles.

The reason I rated battery 4/5 is because I left it over night with about 50% battery, and I woke up to have it completely drained (no apps were active). However, it boasts a battery size of just over 7,000mah (aka considerably large) and should last you at least 2 days. My phone has 5,000mah and can get me through 2 days.

Overall, this is an excellent tablet. I think everybody should consider this if they don't already have a tablet. However, do not purchase this if you're going to do graphic design.

After 6 years of having lenovo tablets and being disappointed with the last one I bought, I decided to get a better one...this one. Lol.
I'm not very tech savvy and quite old, but found the set up very easy to navigate and did it myself without having to resort to asking grandchildren to do it for me.
I find it very quick compared to my old lenovo and the battery lasts a fair few hours. It's easy to use, slim and very lightweight.
I've not used the camera yet as only had it for a week, but overall I am more than happy with it and I got 29% off, so much cheaper than Argos and a comparable price of a lenovo, being only £7 more,
I can recommend the Samsung tablet to all.

It feels a little chunky to hold after my last one, and I do get some inadvertent 'pagebacks'. Having said that, it's all good, very good. I'm so glad I opted for this cheaper model rather than something with more bells and whistles at 3x the price. It's basic, but I'm a basic user - I want to roam social media, read books, stream Netflix, play a few games, that's it. This is perfect for me, fast, reliable, good screen size. Very happy bunny :)

I read and review many tablets and could not believe the spec of this tablet for the price offered.
and to put cherry on the icing as it was sold &delivered by Amazon, I received a £50 google play voucher.
It brought the price even further down.
I added a 64 GB SD card , so it has plenty of storage space. Transferring data from my old Tablet A to this one was a breeze.
I totally recommend this to anyone who wants similar quality of Apple IPD but at a fraction of price .

Really pleased with this tablet. Clear, sharp screen, good wi-fi reception, good battery life and good performance for day-to-day tasks with multiple apps active and using spIit screen which works well and is still sharp. I haven't tried demanding tasks or games, or put the speakers to the test yet, so can't comment on those. Samsungs settings menu is very different to what I'm used to, so I have found it very difficult to do certain things. I pluged in a memory stick and it took me over half an hour to find out how to unmount it safely. It was different on this tablet to what I could find on the internet, so I think they've changed the way things function from previous versions. The manual doesn't cover those sort of things either.

My last few tablets have been Lenovo's but when I dropped my newest (and most expensive one!) and couldn't find somewhere to get it repaired for less than 3 figures I decided to try another brand. I have a Samsung phone so plumped for this and not disappointed. Picture is good as is the sound quality, it does everything I want (mind I'm not after much just the basics!). The only downside is how long it takes to charge but other than that very happy with it.
