I’d rate this a 3.5.

I did enjoy this book. The relationship between the main characters definitely left me with questions. It’s a weird one to say the least.

I like the small town setting with local gossips and hidden pasts, budding romances. Single hot dad trip etc.

I think there was something familiar about the plot and writing but none the less I was sold on most of the story.

However just when it was getting to the juicy bits after a slow burn it ended suddenly. I felt it could have continued further but I guess I’ll have to wait for the next instalment.

This book has it all, the sexy single dad, the boss women and all the feelings! Finished this book in under 24hrs, didn't want to put it down! I got to the cliff hanger at the end of the book and am now counting down until I can read the next part! Miles melts your heart and gives you all the things you want in the leading man! Shelby is a strong woman who has clearly been through the mill and with Miles help is starting to look at things differently , she might just need a little shove in the right direction! Then you bring into the mix Abi, Anders and Bash and I'm just as keen to find out what the story is here, I'm hoping for lots more of Bash in part two! Amazing summer read! You won't be disappointed with this!

This story was captivating and kept me glued ❤️ Still so much to learn and figure out about these couples and their life’s, I don’t know how I’m going to wait until 2023 for the next instalment lol…. Ahhhh I hate cliffhangers and now we have to wait a year for the second book to drop. It was a good storyline, I did find it a bit slow in parts and we didn’t really get an insight to the characters past.
I’m hoping there will be a HEA for Miles and Shelby and Tamara doesn’t cause trouble, Laura already seems like a trouble maker. I’ll also be waiting to see if anything happens with Sebastian and Abigail.

I loved the book and was really excited about the book when I saw the tiktok. I guess I thought it was going to be completely different character wise but it worked. I do feel like I didn't get to know much about the people and why they act the way they are. I feel like we should have found out about what happened with the accident and I just feel like it was rushed. I finished it in a few hours so of course I'm wanting more! I think I also found too many characters. I would love a book about miles and Sh and then a book about Ab and of course the budding romance of black clothes guy. But of course that's just me and it's an amazing book of course. Waiting 9 more moths for the next one is going to be hard!

This book had some hype so I was excited for this when I pre-ordered but the writing felt very Wattpad to me and the storyline… so much nothing happened for a 231 page book. Maybe it just didn’t resonate with me but I felt like the whole storyline was empty and just filler scenes with a little plot in there and I felt like the writing let the story down too. Also maybe it’s just me but even ex step siblings is weird for me.

To be honest I was disappointed with reading this book. After all the social media awareness ( tik tok) I was expecting more. More storyline, character development, or a plot for the first book of the series. It glosses over everything without providing much detail or depth. (Characters arc/setting/plot) I didn’t know for more that half the book what the MFC even looked like (hair eye/colour?!). I’ve never read a book that takes that long to tell the reader this rather essential information.
It reads like fanfiction, not a developed author. Great potential but wouldn’t recommend to a serious reader.

This book is super cute, I really enjoyed the storyline. The one downside is that it’s a cliffhanger. Right when I was getting truly invested BAM! It ended. I recommend it as long as you are prepared for that ending.
