My feet feel like they're encased in plastic with all that entails. They are cheap enough but these will definitely only over be the socks of last resort and I'll be desperate to take them off as quickly as possible.

Funky looking and comfortable socks from Eono with a good range of usable sporty colourways in the pack of five but they're very similar (meaning basically identical) to packs available from other companies, so shop around for the best price. My only reservation with them is that they're sized small and also shrink a bit when first washed and dried, so if you're a borderline size I'd definitely go up one. I take an 11.5/46 size shoe and I'm stretching the larger size to their limit but they remain quite comfortable and don't dig in but they're quite short in the ankle.

They're also not that thick, despite being styled like hiking-boot socks, although there is a bit of extra cushioning on the sole and toes. You get the look and style of sports walking/hiking socks but not the weight or thickness, so they look and feel great with trainers but I wouldn't use them for serious trekking. The quality is good and if you like the styling they're well worth considering.

The socks came in a resealable pouch...which is pretty much standard affair these days. Not too bad looking either! I can't find any fault with these..seams etc all well stitched. They're good comfy all-rounder socks. Thickened in the right places..heel, toe..underside...brilliant for casual wear & probably ideal for running etc given their wicking properties which draws moisture in.

I don't know about trekking though...or anything that requires walking boots....I prefer much thicker (wicking) socks than these....thicker in general & uniformly thick all over. Same would go for work boots. But for general wear & running etc....you can't go wrong with these & I think they're good value for money. The other thing I like about these is the fact that there's no 'knot' type build up on the inside toe areas which usually proves uncomfortable..so top marks there too!

Where did my youth go when we all used to buy white sports socks lol.

Good comfy socks....good value...& support where needed.

If these were just marketed as socks, easily 4 stars, feel nice, they're comfortable, fine for that situation. They're marked as walking, running socks, they get two stars in that respect. Unless your feet are super conditioned for those activities, these aren't thick or padded enough.
I don't run anymore, but do a decent amount of walking, putting these on with my boots...I was moving about within, they're so thin.
In fact, as I pulled one on, I slightly stretched it...I could clearly see my foot through the top as it was now almost transparent.
The heel, sole & toe area is twice as thick as the rest, but that only makes it as thick as a regular sock.
If you need the padding, these are not for you. If you're happy with very thin (I'd say they'll let your feet breath better), then these could be just right for you.
Giving a three as a combination of the 2 & 4 stars I mentioned near the start of this review.

These are nicely made, light socks with smooth-knit undersides and over foot sections that are a bit more textured, providing an-open weave, mesh-like breathable fabric. These are titled cotton socks, but are in fact a blend fabric where cotton is the main component. Other components are polyester (19.2%) and elastane (2.2%). The fairly high levels of polyester and elastane leave these feeling more like a man-made fabric than cotton to me. These are all stripy socks in a palette of monochrome and blue shades. The pairs come individually banded together, inside a zip lock bag.

On my Dad (size 9, high insteps, wide feet), these fit fine and are roomy without excess fabric – but on my 'little' brother (who wears a size 11 and inherited the high insteps and wide feet, so has feet that are really pushing the upper boundary of the size band) these pull quite tightly under foot.

I think they are good value for 5 pairs of hiking socks A pack of 5 socks in various colours, classic colours
Normally I love these types of hiking socks but these aren't as good as my other ones.
Don't get me wrong, they are still miles better than standard socks as they offer more cushioning on the soles, heels, and toes however I wish they were a bit longer. They are an odd size, not as short as trainer socks nor as long as standard ankles socks.
Comfort-wise they are excellent, they provide extra support for areas of the feet that are prone to extra pressure, they don't slip off on their own. They wash well and the colours are great.
