Easy Teeth Whitening

I absolutely love the Dr Dent whitening kits! They’re so easy to use, the mouthpiece is very comfortable and the gel is smooth and non-stinging! I have very sensitive teeth and a small area of gum erosion so I can only use very gentle products, and Dr Dent gel is gentle yet really effective! Super white natural looking teeth from the first use!!

Didn't work for me

I did everything as instructed and there was no change what so ever. I have tried a few over the past few years and every 6 months or so i give my teeth a little TLC but i have to report that these did nothing to whiten my teeth. Shame as it has very good feed back so i was expecting good results.

Only just got it so no idea yet if it works but I thought it worth posting that you're supposed to keep it in for 20 minutes, but at 10 minutes a beeper sounds (not sure why) and sometimes then the LED light goes off. So on my first go I spent the last ten minutes without full effectiveness.

I bought this to see if it would help whiten my teeth. I'll be honest, they were on the low end of the colour chart already, a 2 or 3 depending on the tooth.

I loaded up for my first session and it was easy to use, I liked how it timed in increments of 10 minutes too. It had a nice minty flavour and plenty in each tube for both trays on the mouthpiece.

My mistake the first time was not putting it close enough to my teeth, so make sure you hold it close for best coverage.

It has whitened some teeth that were on the yellower side, and did so in the first few treatments, but I did have to stick with it for the duration to see best results.

The biggest trouble I had was attaching the mouthpiece to the LED unit, but once you get the hang of it then it's fine. Easy to clean after each session, but just be aware of the excess saliva. I preferred to lay down during the treatments to avoid quite as much after the 20 mins!

Bought in hopes to brighten my smile without the cost of going through my dentist I have used 5/8 of the pods and am starting to notice a difference already! It comes with a whitening guide so you can compare your teeth colour before and after. I use this once every day/ every two days for 20 minutes a time. The appliance is easy to use and beeps and turns off after 10 minutes to help me keep track. The gels are easy to apply to the plastic mouth guard and taste amazing!
Things that aren’t so great are that after a couple uses in a row (eg. Day- to- day use) it starts to burn my gums slightly as the plastic mouth guard is slightly big for my mouth, also meaning a lot of the gel and silvia can “dribble” out of the guard leaving me in a bit of a mess after the 20 minutes ! Also the gel pods are a little tricky to get ALL the product out due to the shape of them but I’m sure if you’d cut the end off you can scrape the rest out.

Besides these couple things I’d 10/10 recommend and I’m noticing differences already.

Product arrived on time as stated. Packaging looked really professional and love the magnetic closing lid, just adds to the experience. When it comes to the use, in the box youll find a whitening guide that you can use to compare results during usage. Plenty of ampules included and you can request an additional set via email for free! When it came to usage, the instructions were nice and clear, apply the paste to the gum shield provided and insert into mouth and press the button to illuminate the blue light. Comes preinstalled with a timer that beeps when finished. The paste itself has a minty taste that i like as its not over powerful like other paste. When it comes to the results, my teeth are shinier and whiter than before use. Although there is still slight yellowish tint left but nothing compared to before and will gladly smile with my teeth showing unlike before. Great product and love how you receive a hand written letter from the Dr. Dent family as it just shows how much they care for the users and their product!

Finally quality whitening for sensitive teeth

I was born with a condition that makes the enamel on my teeth thin so my teeth are borderline exposed nerves so I have allways kept an eye out for teeth whitening kits to suit. I have tried about 20 ish products from strips to pens to charcoal. This is the first product I have seen that offers a traditional whitening gel and light for sensitive teeth. I had to try it. Wow no sensitivity at all during the treatment and it made my teeth less sensitive. I will say don't expect bright white teeth as it doesn't have the harmful ingredients but it does work you can use daily without worrying, and it comes with a colour strip to see the difference. Don't expect bright white buy a noticeable difference.

Was relatively skeptical at first, even more so when I was asleep to write a review in exchange for free pods... However nothing changes the fact this is a very well made & packaged product. Great whitening capabilites. Easy to use, comfortable, and if you follow the simple instructions you'll see results instantly. My only complaints are the fact there is alot of gel left in the tube as the plastic is solid and hard to squeeze it all out, and only the front teeth tend to whiten, the side/back teeth do not. (maybe due to lack) of gel. Overall, very happy with the product, and better than an in house treatment that cost me quadruple the price before.

I gained a couple as of shades with the first treatment but will have to do a second session to achieve the desired effect. Only negative for me is that I find it hard to squeeze out all the liquid out of the little pods that contain the product. The manufacturers needs to look into this as I think it’s a recurring issues amongst customers. Hence the 4 stars. The taste is like fresh mint and compared to other products out there is the best I found so far. I would recommend overall.

I didn't feel any discomfort in my gums as with other more aggressive brands. I did see an improvement of some 2/3 shades after 6 days of application!
The LED is definitely brighter in this version vs the Advanced, I checked with a phone app measuring the lux and it's 4-6x brighter!

I would say the Advanced one with the syringes is easier to apply as you have more precision and it's a bit difficult to squeeze all the gel out of these pods. 5 stars otherwise!
