Easy Teeth Whitening

I absolutely love the Dr Dent whitening kits! They’re so easy to use, the mouthpiece is very comfortable and the gel is smooth and non-stinging! I have very sensitive teeth and a small area of gum erosion so I can only use very gentle products, and Dr Dent gel is gentle yet really effective! Super white natural looking teeth from the first use!!

Didn't work for me

I did everything as instructed and there was no change what so ever. I have tried a few over the past few years and every 6 months or so i give my teeth a little TLC but i have to report that these did nothing to whiten my teeth. Shame as it has very good feed back so i was expecting good results.

Easy to use Teeth Whitening Kit

This is a well presented packaged product, and the value is great. The taste of the gel was fine, and refreshing. I am still to hoping to achieve a complete verdict, has I have to weigh up the noticeable difference, with level of discolouration I have built up and unfortunately have medium to significant staining.

However, I was looking for a product I felt comfortable about using whilst I have some irritabilities, with certain dental products. This was absolutely fine. I think I would say that the whitening of those teeth with heavy yellowing or staining nearer the gum, has not quite happened. All the same I will completely use the kit, hope it does achieve the task, because I love using it!

Any advice to help improve my results with the product would be appreciated. I hope my review helps and good luck with product!

I bought this product based on the reviews, high reviews must work right? Well not really.

I’ll cut to chase, my teeth aren’t too discoloured but I didn’t see any change so I did some googling into studies.

LED lights:
- Some studies say they help with peroxide based agents (this is not peroxide based, it’s phthalimide peroxy caproic acid) and even still some studies suggest not.

Phthalimide peroxy caproic acid (PAP):
Studies show it does work for tooth whiting, effectiveness depends on the % used. Definitely more gentle on the mouth than the oxides.

Overall should work but the light seems to be a gimmick. I personally would just recommend going the the dentist.

The box and the kit looks amazing. I’m planning to use it in a few days time hopefully. It says the whitening paste needs to be on 2x 10 minutes. So far I had no chance to fit this into my day with my 3 under 5 year old kids before I’m so tired that I collapse on the bed. The 4* rating is on the benefit of a doubt and fingers crossed I’ll update once I actually get to use it.
UPDATE: after 3 sessions there is no difference I can see in my teeth. Nobody noticed a change either. However my son said they look more yellow than usual. I’ll see if it changes for the better in time.

I have been using this product every other night for a few weeks now. There has been a slight change in the colour of my teeth but nothing that makes me think "Wow!" I have used the 8 bottles that come with it and have ordered another 8 so will see if there is any difference. I won't be purchasing more bottles if there isn't a more noticeable difference.
Definitely no sensitivity, easy to use. I just pop it in while watching TV.

It kinda works, but the unit has malfunctioned after 10 uses

The product kinda works, removes a various amount of staining but I'd argue against it actually "whitening" the teeth.
The biggest issue is the unit has malfunctioned for me after 10 uses. It no longer beeps after the 10 minute period when the light goes out and if I press the button, the cycle starts again with the light permenantly on. I can't get it to turn off by pressing the button at all anymore. It used to beep even when the button was pressed to turn it off but now it doesn't.

Would appreciate a replacement unit if someone at DrDent reads this.

First photo was before I used the product. Second was the second day the third was the 3rd day. I’m on the 3rd day now. I personally don’t see much difference. But they do feel fresher my jaw aches a little after but soon goes the taste is so much better then ones Iv used in the past. I can last the 20min with out gagging. Where other products Iv used in the past I can not seem to get on with. I can not yet say if it is good value for money I will let you know after the 8 days not had anyone comment on me teeth yet. Where in the past using special tooth paste been commented a lot. I do feel my teeth have become more sensitive but I will keep going till the 8 days are up.

This product is easy to use with a nice flavour and comes in a lovely box to keep it all together and easy to store. I like that it comes with a card so you can see where your teeth stand on it and you can compare. I’ve only used this 3 times and after each use teeth look brighter and feel really good but still not white enough for me at the moment but I still haven’t finished the course of treatment yet

Batteries only good for one session, failed during second use so had to throw out the opened whitening gel. Now I have replaced the batteries the 10 minute timer doesn’t work. All in all very disappointing.

Smells very nice, very easy to use, nice packaging, high quality product overall..
The whitening effect for me was low; this is probably because natural colour of my teeth is not very white and my teeth were clean (no stains, etc.) prior to use so there was not much room to improve. I believe this product does not chance the colour of your teeth but reverts it back to its original colour (or a bit whither than that). I will have another go (8 more cartridges) hoping that this time the end result to be better.
