Ive been using Nice and Easy for 25 years and never had a problem. I started going to a top salon for a couple of years as I thought I deserved it but was never as happy as when I did it myself as the colours never blended as well and I still do not understand why it takes 20 mins at home at a cost of £5 and 3 hours and over a £100 in a salon. Why would you?

Washes out to a very patchy colour

Initially this goes on ok but soon washes out to a very patchy coverage. Also greys come through very quickly. I’ve used nice & easy for years and it use to be good, but this seems to have changed recently. It was pretty awful. Wouldn’t recommend. I now use L’Oréal Excellence which is spot on.

Was very skeptical about using a home dye as my hair is very thick and I was pretty sure I’d mess it up. I used 2 boxes (should have bought 3) on my hair, followed the instructions and the end result was pleasantly surprising. There were a few patches of hair I missed (at the back) so I bought another box and touched it up a few days later. Usually when u get my hair coloured at the hairdressers they can never cover all of my greys, this covered every single grey. So from now on I’ll be using this as it’s better coverage and soooo much cheaper than the salon 🙌🏻 PS, my hair is still damp in my after photo I have posted, so the colour is slightly lighter. I’ll post another photo soon!

Although the final result was darker than the colour on the box, it got rid of the orange and left me with a nice ash natural colour. I’m not surprised it was darker as I left it in longer than I should have and my hair wasn’t super light to start with. Nice product left my hair smelling nice, after the conditioning. Overall happy.

AMAZING!!! First time colouring at home in maybe 10 years. Cheap, easy to use, no itching, the smell is fine, results are awesome and my hair doesn't feel the least bit damaged. It actually feels more healthy, for some reason - although this is of course not the case, ha! I have quite thin and "delicate" Scandinavian hair, so I would have expected lots of damaged hair, but nothing. I can't believe how much money and time I've saved - and will save from now on. Miracle product! I have very thick, dark, dark brown hair and have always gone to an Aveda hairdresser to get my roots done monthly. As we are mid a lock down during this Covid- 19 pandemic all hairdressers are closed 🙈 oh the stress...
I tried a different product which barely lifted me out of brown shades. However, this Clairol Nice n Easy SB2 is a sheer miracle!!! FYI I left it on for an hour after all roots were covered. I also wore a bin bag and made a hole for my head to protect my clothes. Pure class! Lol 😊👌
I used an inactive pen to part my hair with 1cm partings from the middle parting one side at a time. Then the back the same way. I rubbed it in using gloves and it helped, there was no bleed of the colour. This product REALLY WORKS X
I may apply another box tomorrow to get an even lighter root colour.

This worked so perfectly and went the exact colour that I wanted! I normally get my hair done at the hair dressers but I couldn't afford it whilst on maternity leave. I was planning to just let it be my natural colour until I noticed it was going grey! Before my hair was balaylage with my natural ash blonde at the top and bleached ends and it went this really nice auburn colour all over and is not patchy at all! I bought 3 boxes because I was worried I would run out half way through but I only actually needed one! Pros:This product is so simple to use. It works in 25 minutes, plus when rinsing out the colour after application, it does so very quickly. It left my hair soft, shiny, and feeling and looking the best it has in a very long time. The only complaint that I have, is that the Medium Reddish Brown shade, turned my mid brown hair, BLACK with a burgundy tint!!! I had to order a lighter shade, plus I have had to purchase from elsewhere, a Hair Colour Remover. I look dreadful, and I am having to wear a beanie hat whenever I go out, until the other products arrive, because the black burgundy shade looks that bad on me. Be warned.***Update.
