Winter Emergency Kit + Vehicle Breakdown Safety Kit Plus

I've never understood why so few people in the UK have things like this in their vehicles, as with a fire extinguisher... you might never need it but you'll regret not having it if you do.

Both products don't take up much of any space in the boot, they have velcro on the bags which prevents them from sliding around all over the place (which also means it keeps my mini refrigerator from doing the same).
They are good standard little kits, all self-contained inside the bag and fits inside the car without taking up much space, the bags are bright yellow and easy to see.
If you're a newer driver, like myself (I only got my licence in 2018) then it's a good standard go-to set of kits for you.

Better to be prepared and not use it than to be unprepared and need it.

Breathalyser not included!!

Although the ‘NF Approved Breathalyser’ is listed as one of the products required to travel in Europe, and the kit claims to insure against all spot fines, the breathalyser is not included in the pack!!!

This marketing I found highly misleading and not up to the standards I would expect of Amazon or the AA.

I helped my sister in law buy a car and felt nervous about her breaking down and feeling responsible for her buying a dud. I decided to buy her this kit as a Christmas present. Great kit that would really help in an emergency. Added some extra bits (Another hi-viz, rain ponchos, foil blankets, first aid kit, spare batteries) all purchased cheaply on amazon.

She loved the gift and it’s made me feel better.

Velcro on the side of the bag so sticks to the side of the boot

Nice kit to keep in the car in case of emergencies and as part of a vehicle EDC. Not the best quality items in the bag but better than nothing. Have added a few items and tools in the bag to bulk it up as there was enough space inside to do so.

First bag I had came with broken handles, which shows they are not the highest of quality, but was easily replaced.

not used it yet, other than the wee torch which i took camping and was pleasantly surprised by how powerful it was. shovel seems sturdy and well made. i got the item at nearly half RRP and was very happy. the bag seems sturdy also, well made and handy to pop other items in. in general the items seem of a good quality, although am hoping i never need to use any of them. worth it for the shovel, jump leads and torch alone really.

Bought this to meet requirements for travel in France during Summer 2013. The kit contained all that was required with the exception of breathalyser kit(s) which is a requirement for travel in France and which needs to be bought separately.

I was a little worried the magnetic GB sticker might become detached, and took the precaution of removing it anytime we parked up for any length of time lest it be stolen, but it seemed to hold without problem.
