Winter Emergency Kit + Vehicle Breakdown Safety Kit Plus

I've never understood why so few people in the UK have things like this in their vehicles, as with a fire extinguisher... you might never need it but you'll regret not having it if you do.

Both products don't take up much of any space in the boot, they have velcro on the bags which prevents them from sliding around all over the place (which also means it keeps my mini refrigerator from doing the same).
They are good standard little kits, all self-contained inside the bag and fits inside the car without taking up much space, the bags are bright yellow and easy to see.
If you're a newer driver, like myself (I only got my licence in 2018) then it's a good standard go-to set of kits for you.

Better to be prepared and not use it than to be unprepared and need it.

Breathalyser not included!!

Although the ‘NF Approved Breathalyser’ is listed as one of the products required to travel in Europe, and the kit claims to insure against all spot fines, the breathalyser is not included in the pack!!!

This marketing I found highly misleading and not up to the standards I would expect of Amazon or the AA.

We received this ready for my daughters 17th Birthday tomorrow as we've bought her a little car and when I opened the box up so I could wrap it, itvwadnt in the box as advertised, it was in a dirty yellow bag which was completely filthy, covered in black marks & the handle was fraid & broke (See photo) I didn't have anything else to give her & I couldn't send it back because it's her birthday tomorrow. So I've taken all the items out of the bag & put them in a nice box so they look better. Very disappointed!!! Update - she was pleased with the items until she took out the jump leads & one of the plastic handles feel off exposing all the wire. It's disgusting that it cost me over £40 in total for this rubbish. I'm so upset for my daughter & I feel terrible that I have it to her as a present. I'm now seeking a full refund!

Even though I did not read the item description. I did read other reviews which all mention the breathalyser. This DOES NOT come with one. To return the item is £4. To buy a separate breathalyser is £5. So please please pay attention to the description NOT THE REVIEWS which seem to be misleading to say the least. Also note that a “European travel pack”. This product is supposed to be a European Travel Kit. Firstly, only ONE WARNING TRIANGLE, Spain's ruling is TWO. No breath tester, France requires one. This is clearly misselling and totally misleading. A naive person would buy this and think they were covered for European travel by road, and they most certainly would not be. I now have to buy TWO additional items to add to this 'kit' to make it viable and legal throughout Europe and our campervan travels.

On the front it clearly states there is a UK version of the sticker however inside the box it’s only GB everything else looks okay for travelling in Europe however should’ve checked sooner as you need the UK sticker now - mis advertised but can’t return too late.

Absolutely unfathomable how the kit does not include a Braethaliser which is a requirement for France!!! 99.9% of all people driving from the UK to anywhere in Europe will be travelling through France via Ferry or Eurotunnel. Major miss by the AA - just plain negligent! All the marketing blurn leads you to believe it has everything you need to drive in Europe. Well.... it doesn't!!

Pump is completely useless. Used it three times (it takes ages to pump up a flat tire) and then it started making a horrible rattling noise and it doesn't build up any useful pressure. I've just opened the pump, no surprise it failed!! very low quality motor, the metal gears were completely destroyed, there were more metal shavings all around the housing than in the gears themselves. The motor bushings terribly worn, the motor was running eccentric. Cheap useless crap. Stay away from this!!!
