Great for the price

This lead is good for the price it works pretty well! The lock and unlock buttons are ok to use , but if you are elderly or have arthritis then they can be quite difficult to use as my father found out!
The part of the lead where it connects to the collar is a little delicate as I found out on a previous lead so I bought a wire extension to prevent my puppy from chewing and breaking it which works well so far! I would only use this lead for a small or medium dog as a large one would probably break this on the first walk it your dog pulls a lot.
Also the retraction works well and as it should!
Overall this lead is great for the price I would certainly recommend it to others! I hope that anyone who reads this finds the information informative!

Lead snapped after less than 10 minutes of use

Definitely don't buy this product if you have a dog that is even remotely strong and can pull it. I was literally less than 10 minutes into a walk with my four month old lab (who only weighs about 13kg) and it literally snapped at the slightest tug. The lead itself is probably half an inch in width and about 1mm in thickness.. after extending/ retracting a few times it wears down on the lead and it ends up snapping! The result was having to pick up my pup half way through a short walk on the roadside and carry him back

I made this purchase before I got my Athena and at that point I was under the impression that she was a 8 week old labradoodle but it turns out that Athena is older than what I thought and is growing like there’s no tomorrow.
So although this extension dog walking is lead good while Athena is still getting used to the outside world but because of her size she’ll probably grow out of that dog lead very soon. But besides all that that the dog lead is is very cute great value for money and good if you have a young puppy who is starting to get used to the outside world.

I have a jack Russel cairn terrier mix dog, he is a small dog... This lead broke in 6 days the locking/retracting mechanism broke... The lockin mechanism wen working I found impractical anyway as u could not lock n release with ur thumb f quick reel ins etc as wen u press down wiv thumb lead locks n has tb released by th button. This lead is only suitable f very small dogs... My dog only weighs 10 kilos and lead broke within a week

So disappointed with this item.

My 2kg cockapoo puppy pulled on the lead and it snapped completely off. The lead then retracted completely back inside the casing.

My puppy ran into a road which luckily was quiet at the time. However it could have been a very different scenario.

I am so angry that a product with such poor quality is allowed on the market. Maybe mine was faulty. But it didn’t look faulty in any way, shape or form.

DO NOT TAKE RISKS BUYING CHEAP PRODUCTS. I nearly learned the hard way

Warning, Warning, Warning. Used it for first time today. Young dog 11months old. Weight 10.5kg. Dog ran out full length of lead and at the stop point the lead snapped. See photo. Luckily we were walking in a beach location. Could have been a different story if in a built up area with traffic. If you value your pup do not purchase. Only given 1 star because a zero is not an option.
