I compared a lot of hula hoop and finally bought this product because I want this to be more durable. I have high expectations for the durability of this product. Mainly because of its design. In one of my pictures, you can see that each connection is very strong and the pulleys inside are very smooth to use, like lube that helps reduce friction, so it makes very little noise. Seeing the bad reviews from some buyers before, I didn't encounter these problems, I think the seller has improved the product. And the seller comes with an extra pulley accessory。I'll know soon because I don't just play with these weighted hula hoops.
I got a real workout with them.
I love this concept! I don't even need to breathe through my mouth or walk away every time I work out, you just need an open space away from anything fragile. I usually start with my feet shoulder-width apart, spin the weighted ball, and then synchronize my movements with the movement of the ball. It's really easy once you get the hang of it. Then every once in a while, I'll put my right foot in front for a few minutes and then switch my left foot in front so I can work different muscles. I like to spin the ball halfway through the workout in one direction, then switch to swing it the rest of the way in the other direction.
On my first day with this product, I did a 1 hour workout and burned 520 calories. My heart rate hit 142 BPM by the end of the workout. I'm not kidding when I say these things will give you a real workout. However, if you're not used to exercising with these weighted hula hoops, or if you say you're generally not in good shape, I highly recommend you start slowly and work your way up. Maybe 10 minutes the first few days until you're ready to do 15 or 20 minutes. Then do a 30-minute workout when you're ready. No matter how many minutes you work out, you'll burn calories! I will be working out with this hoop every day to lose the belly fat I have accumulated over the past few years.

It is extremely easy to assemble, but not as easy as I thought to use, the clips don't allow the ball to glide through very smoothly, you can hear it struggle so you have to put a lot more effort in to keep the momentum up. You are supposed to use this to lose weight so effort is required, however, even when you have the gist of how to get it to work it doesn't seem to want to work with you, to be honest you get what you pay for, I think the more expensive options will not have this issue.
I will be persevering with it now I have it and hope that extra effort pays off.

I used this very successfully for a week and I lost several pounds, I was delighted! Then after using it fine the day before I thought for a moment that I’d lost the knack. But on inspection I found that the bearings in the little wheels were completely shot. They weren’t turning at all. I emailed the seller to express my disappointment and a couple of days later (yesterday) a replacement arrived. I checked the bearings before it’s first use this morning and they were all spinning freely. After 5 minutes of use it stopped spinning. I immediately checked the bearings and they’re shot already! Only one of them is spinning.

I can fault the seller, and when this product works it is good, but the materials just aren’t fit for purpose and it doesn’t last. Total waste of money.

When I received the item it was extremely easy to use and the ball seemed extremely light. When I weighed it, it was only 0.3lbs instead of the advertised 1.5lbs!
Don’t waste your money on this shoddy product - spend a bit more on a product that actually matches the description and will actually help you work out! This is next to useless!!

This item item arrived in a plain cardboard box, with No English instruction just in Chinese, there was no weight but even if there was , it looked totally cheaply made, reminded me of the toy plastic snakes you used to get. The belt its self the opening was terrible to open. I have had to add to this as i have 2 friends who had these and the weight was not very heavy, and one decided to open the weight to see if there was any way to add to it, and on opening it had actual dirt in side a plastic bag, and the other was the same, very surprised these got even though customs . So if you have one take a look , surly this can't be safe.

The box arrived open , with no seal and no wrapping , once looked inside the hook to attack ball, the string and also the bit that slides inside hoop was all missing all I received was a ball and hoop

My wife wanted one of these. I was sceptical to begin with but watched a few video reviews beforehand and they actually looked ok, so I went for it. BUT! What no-one seems to mention is the NOISE. The ball on the end of the string is essentially travelling around the waistband in a small train carriage and it sounds like a train as its going round and round! I guess you could get used to it, or listen to music etc, but its going to be annoying for anyone else nearby. I think the noise is far worse than the size you'd have to put up with from a regular hula hoop, which is what these are replacing. I'd take the larger hoop and silence over the smaller hoop and that noise any day of the week. Otherwise it seems fairly well made and certainly does the job but I wouldn't recommend (and like a lot of these things, its has now stopped being used).

Worked well for the first 20 minutes. After that it’s like the bearings have worn out. Constantly gets stuck, removing the slider from the belt you can feel the bearings grind. Pretty sure a large portion of 5* reviews on here are paid for by the company. Sent back for a refund already. You’d lose more weight spending £15 on a single month gym subscription 😂
