Simply plug the stick into a HDMI port and the accompanying short lead into a USB port to provide power. ( It’s on YouTube) The rest will become self explanatory as you link up your various accounts such as Amazon with the device. Just have your Broadband code available to get going. There are numerous Apps available to download including ITV Hub and BT Sport.
This is a very impressive little device which has become immensely popular. Why oh why didn’t I get one before?

Can’t adjust volume of Bluetooth headphones.

Looks okay sets up easy enough. However, you can’t change volume on Bluetooth headphones.

I’ve searched google everywhere and only option is side loading apps which in itself is difficult.

Volume is beyond low with headphones and the volume buttons in the headphones themselves make little difference - tried multiple pairs.

Alexa won’t turn up volume of Fire TV stick. Doesn’t seem to be an overall volume control either.

Bought this especially to listen to movies quietly on a portable monitor.

Absolute disgrace.

This ones only HD and no TV controls bit it was at the cheaper end of the scale. Mine broke so I wanted one quickly. The streaming quality is more than good enough for me and I brought the refurbished version and it looked brand new in the box. Turned up quickly too so perfect to be fair.

A Moment Of Blue Screen (Overheat?)

This is my second FireStick that the last one got a reboot loop error after a few years in use and easily overheated, so had to buy a new one. When I realised that this one has no TV volume control, I tried to cancel the order to buy an upper model, but the cancellation request wasn’t processed by Amazon even the same evening, so bought it anyway. This one sometimes shows blue screen too though, at least it works in bearable level in this moment (recent purchase, so not yet as a long term comment, so will see.) The last model was like 3 stars when it worked and it is quite similar basic model though, after a few hours in use, it generated heat and a few second of blue screen warned that, so over all 2.5 stars. If no such blue screen issue even for seconds, it is 3 stars+ as before, but it is still new, so expected more than the old model. However, low energy consumption is a plus.

I have bought a few of the different Fire Tv Products for my self and for friends and the one thing that makes me come back to Amazon Fire Tv products is that they are so easy to use for people of all ages.
A friend of mine is in his 70's and he has no problem using it and my 6 year old Grandson is a wiz at them.

Bought this to add Disney+ to a TV that is too old to have the app installed directly.
Couple it with an HDMI switch to enable 3 devices to go through same HDMI port on TV (only 2 ports on older TV).
So easy to set up and we were watching Disney+ less than 5 minutes after opening the box.
Great quality sound and picture and so much cheaper than buying a new TV!!

A bit of a disclaimer - I've used a friend's Fire stick and base my review on that as I had to return this one. No fault of the product; I was a numpty and didn't check to make sure I still have a spare Hdmi socket on the TV to use ... turns out I had used them all for other 'essentials' and didn't want to unplug anything.
Handy little device, quite neat with a decent length of cable to connect it but not so long that it will add to the nest currently lurking behind the TV. If I ever get around to putting a TV in the bedroom, I'll definitely get another as it's an elegant solution to making a TV smarter!
For what it's worth, the Amazon return experience was really good and plenty of options as to how it was transported back to them - refund was swift!

Great value TV Stick

This is a low cost tv stick, that goes in your HDMI socket of your TV. The remote control does NOT have volume buttons on it, so you still need to use your TV remote, but this does give you Amazon Prime TV, Netflix, Discovery+, Disney, Sky News, YouTube etc. You need to pay subscriptions to channels you want, but this gives you easy access to them on one device.
I genuinely don't watch terrestrial tv anymore, I just use these sticks to watch what I want, when I want.
This came boxed with the stick, remote batteries, USB power lead and plug. I don't use the plug as my TV has a USB socket on the rear that I use to power this.
Esdy to set up and use.
