Why are car makers making new cars with usb c not the good old usb…. Sigh. They are well made but don’t charge the phone as quick as my older cables. Still a good buy overall.

Broke off inside my iPad

This seemed like a good product for a few weeks but then the tip of the plug sheered off inside the socket on my iPad. It’s still stuck in there and I have no idea how I’m going to get it out. Awful purchase, cannot recommend.

Update: the seller has been very helpful and attentive in resolving the issue even when I was convinced I was going to get a repair bill for half the value of the iPad. Eventually I fixed it myself with a little help from the internet as getting to a store during lockdown is more hassle than it’s worth but it’s good to know I wouldn’t have been left in the cold had I been unable to remove the piece on my own. Of course they gave me a full refund.

Image is from first order Casing had come off and product because extremely hot

After the shop kindly redelivering a new replacement
The replacement has also done the same and got extremely hot again, also iphones no longer accepts due to consistantly disconnecting and reconnecting

I have tried both the Anker plug that was suggested to purchase at the same time and with my Apple usb c Plug and still same results..customer service tho i say great to deal with but the product is awful

The first cable did not last long

I purchased this two-cable set because I felt it would be good to have a cable and a spare in case I needed it.
I assumed that because a cable is a cable, there was no sense in spending too much money on it, but I was mistaken. One of these two cables has already failed, despite the fact that it has not been frequently moved or heavily used. The first cable lasted only about a month and a half. I've now begun using the second cable, so we'll see whether I'm lucky with that one. I doubt I would consider buying this set again.

Expensive repair to iPhone possible if you use this cable

The two cables we bought late April had both died by early September. One just stopped working for no obvious reason and was only occasionally used. The other, used more frequently, managed to shed a shroud around the lighting connector itself and leave itself in an iPhone charging port! It cost £40 to have it removed. Can't recommend for either occasional or heavier usage.
After writing this review I contacted the company, they got back to me straight away, they owned the problem and offered a full refund for the cost of the cables as soon as I reported the issue.

The longer length one is dodgy already, does the thing where you have to wiggle the wire for it to charge, I’ve yet to try the other one. If you can get to Poundland, same quality and time they last, just couldn’t get this time.

The charger cable looks sturdy enough. My issue is, the charger doesn't fit into the charging slot correctly. 2nd use and if you pick the phone up with the cable in, it stops charging. It only charges if you leave the device in situ. Due to this, I’m not so keen. Its borderline defective.

I very very rarely leave product reviews but I’m really annoyed at this product. It worked fantastic and just what I needed for about 2-4 months each. I’d purchased a diff cable from them for my partners phone and they’ve done the exact same thing in less than 2 months. Shaky connection, and, after just plugging it in half an hour ago, my battery dropped 2% even though it shows the charging icon. I’ve tried it in 3 chargers, all official apple fast charge plugs and only battery drain. I would highly recommend avoiding they don’t last at all, spend a little extra and get the better quality ones straight out the gate. However, if you can’t hide your upsetti spaghetti from nibbly animals like rats and rabbits then at least it’ll last you long enough before they eat it, only good use for them frankly.
