Best ever cat litter

There are several things I love about this cat litter. Odour control is brilliant, I have 2 cats and 4 litter trays, one cat is an indoor girl and the other goes out for short walks. There is no smell from the trays. I really do have to look to see if there us a job in there to clear up. Liquid is absorbed immediately, but scoop that out as soon as you can because it can get quite solid. Both cats took to it straight away. But to me the most important benefit is NO DUST. Really nothing. I used to have to dust the furniture where the trays are after every use and when I refilled the trays. I worried that this dust on my furniture was also making its way in to my girls lungs that can't be good for them. I can't recommend this more highly.

Horrible smelly, solid as a rock

I usually use a crystal cat litter however my nearest store is a few miles away, I got thos as a back up. I use the crystals I have 6 cats in and out door but they tray can be used over night. With my usual litter you cannot smell urine at all, it 1 large litter tray lasts about 2weeks with only poo picking. I was lookong forward to trying this litter as it was a fine clumping litter. I used it on the first night, I got up to a horrible smell not cat pee but a horrible smell coming from my tray I picked out all the poo&pee clumps lovey into wee balls all scoops up nicely, but if your cats like digging to China like mine do then trying to scoop this off the bottom of the tray is absolutely awful, if need a jack hammer, this tray lasted me one over night, it was just a horrible litter smell I couldn't keep it as I hate a smelly cat try. So don't waste your money crystal litter is 100 times better and doesn't leave any smells

The cats urine combined with that cotton fresh smell gave of the most disgusting aroma. I felt more nauseous than I usually do when cleaning out the litter tray. Plus there was no clumping. I had to clean the tray out and buy new litter.

I tried this one from the usual one I buy. One main reason was the no dust that the manufacturer claims that is even on the packaging. I won’t be buying this again. Either there’s a misunderstanding on what the definition inside on dust means or they have their own definition because I can safely say this was very dusty. So much so my two cats would often sneeze when they go inside the litter tray.

dust issue aside. This is clumping which is important but there are much better brands out there.

I will continue to purchase Catsan Natural Clumping Cat Litter, 100% biodegradable, extra absorbent, 20 L. This is still the best litter I have bought to date and I’ve been buying litter for years now. Same price as you get two litres but better for my cats and also for me who has to clean after them.

Don’t ever go for no clamping and cheap brands. You are wasting your money because they don’t absorb the urine and you will be chucking it all out because of the smell of ammonia will be so strong. Onside ring cats sense of smell is like one hundred times better than humans, getting a litter that is effective is essential. One thing I do adit I itch this brand is does filter litany odour but I still won’t b buying it again.

this cat litter is great to use, any waste your cat makes, clumps up into a hard ball shaped deposit, holding in the smell.
easy to scoop out a few lumps every day, and kills smell quickly.

saves money too as you only have to top up the litter rather than get rid of the whole tray full, as all your doing is removing the lumps of cat litter that have hardened around the waste!

Bought this to try has i need a clumping cat litter for a couple of disposable litter boxes my main cat litter boxes are wood pellets but I've one cat that won't use the pellets. Was ok needed to change after a couple of days and the litter was stuck to the bottom so made it difficult to remove it may of been because it was disposable boxes and the other cats used them as well and tracking wasn't good

I have a very fussy cat. My other 2 cats use catsan but she refuses. Cue the hunt to find her favourite litter, we’ve tried wood pellets but she wouldn’t even stand on them, tried ‘cats best’ litter but I found it had terrible odour control, she liked ‘clean paws’ clumping litter but ironically I found its the worst for tracking and left clay paw prints throughout the house.
Sanicat litter is a winner, clumps well, doesn’t cover paws and smells nice too. I wanted the scentless sanicat but it was out of stock so purchased ‘baby powder’ scent instead, I was worried that she’d find the smell overpowering but it hasn’t fazed her.

Keeps the litter tray fresh

I prefer this type of litter because it allows you to remove the cat urine and poop which keeps the tray fresher and the room it's housed in doesn't smell of a cats toilet. I have 4 cats, and any visitors I have are surprised when they realise I have cats at all. I don't know why, but some people have the impression that cat owners homes smell of cat urine and are full of fur, but mine is far from this and like I previously said, people are surprised to learn I have 4 indoor cats and 2 litter boxes in my house. I definitely recommend this litter as it doesn't mask anything, it allows you to remove it and bin it (bagged up).

Always use this .I go through lots because of my cats health and not disappointed. However the last batch which is a lot lighter then the old one sticks like glue and looks more like cement. Why do you have to change a perfectly working product into something not useble. Had this for so long and now have to find something new.

I usually use the Sanicat fragrance free, and had to get this when the usual type was unavailable.
UGH, ugh, ugh! I actually threw out the last third of the bag, hence the low score for value for money. It's like pouring soap powder into the litter tray. Great clouds of dust rose up, making me and the cats cough and sneeze, and I found smell overpowering. With two asthmatic cats in the house, this was completely unsuitable.
It clumps fine and does the job it's supposed to, but the dust and smell were unbearable.
