Great for sensitive skin

I've been using this for a couple of years now, I have sensitive skin that flares up badly in the cooler months and everything used to irritate it, but read that tea tree can really help. Found this and gave it a try, and amazingly my skin has been so much better, I'm only getting a fraction of the flare ups. So will continue buying!!

Too many chemicals to be natural

Unfortunately this range of products have too many ingredients that i cant pronounce the names of. For me this means the products contain chemicals therefore not natural. Where does sodium benzoate derive from? and that is just one of the ingredients that shouldn't be used in a natural product.
I wont be using this and i will not be buying faith by nature products again.

I often buy the body wash and recently started buying the shampoo.
Today I looked at the ingredients for their body wash and their shampoo. They are exactly the same !

So they are pretending there is a difference between their products when it's all the same thing! One would think a shampoo would contain slightly different ingredients to a body wash?

Does anyone else think this is a con? The shampoo does nor even lather properly. Is that because it is actually a body wash???

This will dry out your skin

Nice scent and good plant-based credentials, but after only a few days' use, this stuff will make your skin feel like it's going to fall off. I switched back to my previous shower gel and my skin returned to normal. Switch back to this Faith in Nature product and it's back to dry skin.

My skin type is normal.

Faith in Nature probably use the same base for all of their personal detergent products so I expect that they'd all be the same and for that reason, I could not recommend this or any of their other products.

I am updating my review to include the Blue Cedar body wash. You will hopefully note my down grade regarding this body wash, but also other body wash products that I have used by this company. When it comes to their description "for sensitive skin ",that is untrue. I started using this companies products because of their claims. They started suitable for vegans and vegetarians and they did not test on animals. They further stated that all their ingredients were naturally derived.

What I have found with their Blue Cedar body wash is that it is not suitable for sensitive skin. Please forgive me for this next bit, but it is the only way I can describe what their false claims are. I do have a particular area on my body which is sensitive. Hopefully, you will garner from my lack of description as to which part of my body I am referring to. To put this into some form of perspective, I have used three other shower products from this company. In each instance I felt a burning sensation around my delicate parts. I mention this because they were all different fragrances. In every instance, I felt the same burning sensation on my delicate parts.

I was drawn into this company because of their many claims. To my detriment, I have learnt a difficult lesson. That is "do not believe everything you read".

I had already tried the coconut scent and wanted to give this a go, I'm so happy I did do. The scent is just delightful, I accidentally left the lid open the other day and the bathroom smelled delicious! It's exactly what I need to get me going on dreary, dark cold wintry mornings.
You only need to use a tiny amout on your sponge, a little goes a long way, it lathers very well.
It is more expensive than some of the high street brand ones, but it's much better for the environment, so I plan to stick to this brand in future.

Love that this is not only sulphate free so gentle on your skin, but also does not test on animals so also very ethical. Smells beautiful too - not overpowering unlike some other shower gels I’ve used. You also don’t need to use much to clean your whole body (based on an average built 5ft 3” woman, using a shower puff) so it lasts ages! Not used in a bath as don’t have one.

It's more expensive then what you get in the supermarket but the higher price is easily justified. The smell is natural, woody and manly, not the plastic smell of cheaper products; the short list of ingredients are natural and it doesn't contain sls or parabens; it cleans well without being too harsh nor drying; the scent released when bathing is therapeautic... soak yourself in this and inhale the smell of nature and feel your stress disappear down the drain. The stress combating effect of this product is worth the price alone. It also lathers well and so you don't need to use that much so it is not as expensive as it seems. An amazing product. I haven't tried the other one with a different scent, but if you don't like this smell then it would be worth trying the other one. Great for men.

Bought 4 bottles of body wash direct from Amazon. Purchased before and they always come in clear sealed bags. These 4 were loose. Used in the shower and instantly had a bad reaction. Also noticed there was no coconut scent. Just chemicals. Was advised by Amazon chat to apply lotion and I'll be fine!!!! Noticed several issues with the bottles after. Labels were wonky. Bottles were shorter. Batch numbers were printed differently and not sealed. So beware when buying. Always used there products without issue until this. Amazon's handling on this issue was a joke too.

This a review for the Lemon & Tea Tree version of this body wash.

Firstly I absolutely love the smell of it, an extremely strong scent of fresh lemon with a tingle of Tea Tree.

I bought this as I suffer with sensitive skin and was hoping that a 99% organic body wash would be more beneficial over standard chemical filled brands. For the most part I was right.

I would say that when using this body wash I feel fresh and rejuvenated after coming out of the shower and the fresh feeling has a good amount of longevity to it, sometimes even lasting into the next day. I’ve noticed the redness on my skin has gone down so it must be doing something right for my inflamed skin.

When using it doesn’t get overly foamy but it’s easy enough to spread around the body and get everything clean without using large amounts of the body wash.

The only reason I wouldn’t give this particular version a 5 star rating is because I find my skin is a little dry after using it. If I was to order again I would most likely go for the Aloe Vera version as I’ve heard this is very good for the skin.

I use the Faith in Nature Aloe Vera shampoo and it’s amazing for my scalp and hair. So I’m assuming the body wash is just as good.

Overall I think it’s a great product but if I was to recommend this to someone I would probably tell them to go with the Aloe Vera version.
