The original is the best

So I have tried some third party heads which are FAR cheaper, like a third of the price. But I have to say they just don't do the same job. With these, you actually get a far cleaner feeling somehow and they also last longer so I decided to stick to these and won't buy any third party ones in the future.

Cut my gums!

I’m not sure this product is genuine because after using these brush heads have both cut my gums and caused sores - I shall be claiming a refund. I’ve used many different oral b heads and never had this problem before.

Persistent issue with branded products are the overpriced consumables. Works as expected but these are simple replacements and clearly in the same category as printer ink. Buy the brush, spend a fortune on heads. We need a revolution.

These work well, but one of the four brushes broke on the inside where the toothbrush fitment is secured. My immediate thought was these are knockoff brushes, but the pack looks genuine. Contacted. Oral-B and they have asked me to send them the faulty brush and packaging. Will update.

I love this toothbrush, however, the only ‘complaint’ I have is that the colour change to let you know the head needs changing is too subtle… It would have been better to turn from the original colour to an obviously different colour… eg green to pink!

Harsh on the gums!

Can’t fault how these clean your teeth but personally I found these very harsh on my gums. They left them inflamed and caused quite a bit of bleeding every time I brushed. I switched to a combination of floss action and sensitive heads and these issues went away quickly.

Vorab, ich bin eigentlich sehr zufrieden mit den Zahnbürstenköpfen selbst. Die Reinigung ist subjektiv gut und angenehmen. Ich verwende OralB seit Jahren und habe so gut wie nie Probleme mit meinen Zähnen.

Was ich aber echt nicht nachvollziehen kann ist die Verpackung. Am liebsten hätte ich diese Packung zurückgeschickt und mir eine normale im Supermarkt geholt. Wäre aber auch nicht besser, deswegen gebe ich lieber Feedback.

Ich verstehe absolut das es bei einem Produkt wie einer Zahnbürste um ein Produkt handelt, dass aus hygienischen Gründen in einzelnen Blistern verpackt sein muss und ich begrüße den großen Papieranteil der Verpackung. Auch kann ich verstehen, wenn ein Hersteller sein Produkt in einen schicken Karton verpackt, um Aufmerksamkeit im Supermarktregal zu erzielen. Aber hier?

Da es für den Einzelhandel andere Verpackungen gibt, handelt es sich hier vermutlich um eine Verpackung, die expliziert für den Versandhandel konzipiert ist.

Es ist ein riesiger Karton, der einfach nur weiß ist. Wieso? Was soll diese Materialverschwendung? Zumindest ich kann mir keinen Grund dafür erklären.

Aber gut, jetzt kann man argumentieren das es sich hier doch zum Großteil um Papier handelt. Das ist doch nicht so schlimm. Leider ist das Ding innen und außen beschichtet...

Jetzt lasse ich mir aber mal eingehen das irgendein Marketinggenie der Meinung ist das diese Verpackung eine besondere Customer Experience bietet. Aber ist der "Benefit" wirklich so groß das man eine Verpackung braucht die nicht nur zusätzliche Kosten in der Produktion, Transport und Lagerung verursacht? Das Teil kam auch noch in einem viel größeren Amazon Karton! Wie viel CO² könnte man sich sparen, wenn die Tausenden Zahnbürstenköpfe alle in Kartons verschickt werden würden, die viel kompakter verpackt wären.

Selbst wenn es so wie auf den Bildern dargestellt versendet werden würde, könnte man sich immer noch 2/3 des Platzes sparen.

Ich halte mich nicht für einen übertriebenen Öko aber das hier ist einfach so unnötig, dass ich es nicht einfach stehen lassen will.

Die Bürsten sind mit Sicherheit die besten, die ich kenne. Deutlich besser als die Precision Clean. Aber der Preis ist einfach nicht angemessen. Was mich zudem sehr verärgert hat, war die Verpackung. Da kommen 8 Bürsten, alle einzeln verpackt und stecken in einer riesigen weiteren Verpackung. Was soll das? Völlig unnötig. Für Preis und Verpackung jeweils 1 Punkt Abzug.
