High Quality Budget USB Sticks

USB Flash Benchmark results : Average Write ~ 14MBs, Average read ~90MBs. This is pretty decent for a budget USB stick.

I did a bit of digging about for the best quality budget USB sticks I could find and these looked about the best balance. Purely for work purposes (so may well get lost / stolen by colleagues), I wanted something decent enough not to cause frustration but not expensive enough to be concerned if they went missing.

Being USB 3.0 compatible makes them a lot faster than most of the budget USB sticks out there.

These arrived promptly and do exactly what they say on the tin. Transferred a large video file (<4GB) and run a benchmark test, all seems in order. Would have no issues buying again.

Update : 1 of then stopped working after few weeks hence returning.
Needed few pair of UBS sticks for casual use in the family, transfer files here/there and for kids usage at school.
Speed didn't disappoint, as advertised, I would expect 3.0 to be a lot faster than 2.0.
The fact that you could choose the bundles and choice of color variation makes it practical. And decent pricing - worth it

Review for the 3-Pack 16GB:

With a 15% voucher these were less than £3 each, so I wasn't expecting much - albeit more performance than I got from the awful Verbatim Pinstripe USB Sticks (4MB/s write). I wasn't disappointed, these averaged ~10MB/s write, so not too shabby for a budget USB stick. One of two downsides (for me) is the red led-lit endcap which stays lit, irrespective of whether, or not, the stick is 'in use' - not great for fast swap-outs, but it does mean that my office electricity bill has gone down now that we no longer need to use the lights! The other downside is what these USB Sticks are made of.....it must be Teflon, because they are incredibly slippery and thus tricky to grab hold off - the manufacturer should approach the RAF to see if they want to coat the next hypersonic fighter in this stuff!

Our broadband connection is pants, so I have used these to distribute photos to friends for a project. Not much to say really, they do the job, not the fastest, but didn't need to be, but they are not too slow. Build quality is fine and they are great value. Will probably be getting some more in a few months time for a similar project and backing up data.

The usb multi pack come in a small storage box with is very handy for keeping them in and the idea of different colours is good I have only used four so far and I don’t know how much I can put on them although it say’s 2gb that is swahooly to me but they have done the job for me hope the rest will work as good. I've used many pen drives and these are the Slowest for transfer speed that I have ever encountered.

200kbps - 445kbps while I've uploaded the same data to others at 4mbps - 7mbps.

Honestly I got what I paid for.... :(
