AWFUL PRODUCT/DANGEROUS

I STRONGLY BELIEVE THESE STRIPS GIVE INCORRECT READINGS. THE COLOURS ARE VERY FADED, AND HAVE CAUSED ME NO END OF TROUBLE IN GETTING MY TUB BACK TO NORMAL LEVELS. HAVE PURCHASED THIS BRAND BEFORE ELSEWHERE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. HENCE WHY I PURCHASED THE SAME BRAND AGAIN. HOWEVER EVEN THE CONTAINER WITH THE COLOUR CHART WAS VERY FADED. I ENEDED UP OVERDOSING MY TUB WITH CHLORINE AND UNABLE TO USE IT FOR OVER A WEEK, MAKE SURE YOU WAIT FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOU TAKE ON BOARD THE READING GIVEN. I PERSONALLY BELEIVE THE PRODUCT IS EITHER OUT OF DATE/FAULTY OR NOT A GENUINE BRANDED PRODUCT. WISH I HAD ASKED FOR A REFUND, BUT ENDED UP USING SO MANY OF THE STRIPS IN A FEW DAYS BEFORE I REALISED THE STRIPS MUST BE FAULTY. I DO NOT USUALLY WRITE REVIEWS BUT FEEL STRONGLY THAT YOU SHOULD BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN BUYING THESE. MAYBE I WAS UNLUCKY WITH THE BATCH I RECEIVED, BUT PLEASE JUDGE FOR YOURSELF.

Amazon get rid of these please!! They could prove to be seriously detrimental to health. I’ve compared them to a genuine pack that I bought from store at half the price. The sticky label is all crinkled and shoddily stuck on ( screams counterfeit) , it’s longer and heavier plastic and the results are way way out! I did a test with both the genuine and these . The ones from amazon didn’t even match anything on the chart yet the genuine ones said my water was perfect. This could have meant me increasing or reading my chemicals which could have damaged health or and equipment. Not worth it!
Also I bought on prime which I thought was guaranteed no counterfeit??

These strips are fake, they do not detect the presence of chlorine, I tested this by putting the strip in a glass with a large chlorine tablet and small amount of water, should have given a very high reading, it actually gave a no chlorine present reading, very dangerous.

These appear to be fake. the pot has a printed cheap label. The colours on the back haven't printed well and are different to the colours normally used by clearwater.

The colours you get in the test strip don't really seem to correspond to the colours on the back of the pot.

We bought the Cleverspa starter kit and the dip tests were accurate but we heard Clearwater are all that? So I bought Clearwater dip tests pack of 50 because our Cleverspa starter kit came with 25 and I compared the dip tests and honestly the Clearwater colour readings don’t match at all! If you buy theses then my god good luck you’ll be in trouble! Get yourself the Cleverspa dip tests!

The product I bought is in the right, you can see the colours barely show. BUT, more importantly, it came up with a totally different reading to the ‘workimg’ Dip tests. Do not buy, i would have added more chemicals to the pool based on this dip test and with children swimming the inaccuracy of this Diptest makes it vv dangerous

I bought these for my jacuzzi. I've been using a different product in the past and the test strips from each product reveal entirely different results.
The clear water product shows 0 concentration in the water even though chlorine tablets were added a day previously. I don't trust the clear water strips.

When running a hot tub, your chemical levels are CRITICAL. This is a trusted brand that makes the check quick and simple.

There were some fake ones of these for sale a while, these were easy to spot as they were a fraction of the price, and although sold on the amazon marketplace, they were dispatched by someone else. These were quickly removed by amazon and these ones I bought were perfect.

Easy to make these last twice as long by cutting in half, but as you get 50 for £10 they should last two months anyway, so is it really worth it!

I will be buying these again once my batch gets close to running out.
