Amazing Massage Gun

This gun has surpassed my expectations.
Recently I have been seeing a chiropractor and he used a massage gun on my back and it felt great, so I decided to get myself one. This one is far better than the one my chiropractor uses.

Firstly the speeds are great. Speed 1 A very slow pulsating thud, speed 10-14 quite a fast pulsating massage and 20 is a very fast vibration. My favourite is around 14.

Secondly the range of different heads. The main ball one in the picture is fantastic and the most versatile, but there are 3 more that I really liked, a hard flat end that gives the muscles a good slap, a bullet-shaped end that pokes at the muscle tissue and the 'U' shaped end that goes either side of the spine. The versatility is really useful and does give a different feel to each massage.

Thirdly the battery life. DO CHARGE IT UP when you get it, when I first got it, it looked like it was fully charged and lasted about 30mins on full power. However, after really charging for several hours, the gun lasted hours. A would say on speed 10-14 you could get about 1 1/2 hours, on speed 20 just over an hour, and under speed 5 around 3 hours.

Finally, the build quality. This is so solid, it is so well made. The grip feels good and the shape allows you to comfortably massage your own back, although it is always nicer to get someone else to do it. However, I have been doing a lot of upper body exercises and afterwards, it feels great on my arms. One slight criticism would be the placement of the heat vent. On max power, this can get quite hot after 30mins and the hand tends to slide up over the heat vent, but overall it is a device I expect to last for a very long time.

Overall, this is a fantastic deep tissue massage and my 7-year-old son loves using it as well, in fact, he is obsessed by it. It is hard to describe the feeling but if you put in on your neck you will see double because of the speed of the vibrations. It really helps with ache joints and muscles!

I bought this for my achilles tendon which had scar tissue from a past injury . I have used ice different massage techniques , all sorts but nothing has been effective as this . the blunt end can really get into the sides of the tendon . Primarily I bought it for that reason but have found that the other heads are superb on larger muscle groups . I find it especially good after a long journey on the sciatic area , soon sooth away the discomfort . I would however advise you to start on low power to begin with as it does get intense middle to top speeds

Fantastic for a sore back and neck

I got this primarily for my wife who suffers from a bad back and neck after a horse riding accident a few years ago. She often struggles to sleep with the pain. It comes and goes, sometimes she is ok for days and sometimes in pain for days. I also suffer from a sore knee after a waterskiing fall when I was younger and again, it can flare up and last for days.

I had tried one of those plug-in neck massagers for her, the ones that look like a scarf and she said it was ok, but wasn't particularly comfortable. Then I saw one of these on a Twitter advert and it showed someone massaging different parts of the body with different attachments, so I thought I'd give it a go.

It comes in a nice carry case, with a charger and several different attachments. One looks like a tennis ball and is for large muscle groups like a thigh, one is hard and small like a large bullet and that is for a concentrated area that might be sore. Another looks like a fork shape and that is for going down either side of your spine. The massager itself is rechargable and shows the speed on the left (from 0-20) and shows the battery on the right (from 0-99 - it never shows 100% charge because of the design flaw or cost saving of only having 2 digits in the LED and not 3!!).

On first try, it is quite suprising how powerful it is. Don't turn it on to 1 and then press hard against the base of your skull as it will be a shock and you'll feel like someone has just hit you on the back of the head! Start with gentle pressure and one of the soft attachments until you know what it feels like.

I've found that the faster speeds are more comfortable as it is more of a vibration massage. But it depends where you are doing and what attachment you are using. For example, a slow one with a hard attachment isn't comfortable on my knee, but does suit a soft tissue area. A fast speed with a soft attachment is much better on my knee and relieves the pain in no time. In fact yesterday, I decided to try it out on my knee before going for a lockdown walk (we are in lockdown in the UK at time of writing this) and my knee was much better and didn't hurt afterwards - it was sort of like a warm up excerise for it.

As for my wifes neck and back, the spine attachment on a fast speed helps her back and the smaller of the 2 ball shaped ones on a slow speed help her neck. She says it is much nicer than the scarf-type massager. She has me do it whilst she lies on the bed. I suppose that is the only issue, depending where the pain is, you might have to have someone use it for you. But overall, it's very good and has really helped.

I'm really hooked on the soft round head, but the one for going around the spine feels so nice too. It's great that it has so many heads. I also like all the speed settings. This massager is a good item if you are under a tight budget. This is a good balance between budget and functionality.

- Heads are easily installed or changed
- Not too loud, as described.
- Does a good job of taking out light to medium aches and pains.

I will make it clear to start I am having to return this item as it is useless.
The box and attachments itself are neatly packaged although the attachments are just hard plastic .
I tested the massager and it seemed to work but only had 32 battery so I proceed to charge it as recommended in the instructions.
After 4 hours if being on charge the battery showed at 95 so I continued to use it on my plata.
The power itself isn't fantastic and I had to have the power up to max for it to make any difference. After about 4 minutes the battery had died so back on charge it went.
I attempted to use it a couple of hours later as the battery read at 58 but within seconds it dies. It now won't charge or turn on for more than a second reading 58.
It could just be a faulty batch but be aware.
