These were excellent value storage devices, split into small units to make them perfect for adding files, audio or films on to give to someone. They have a very utilitarian look that might offend USB purists who want it shaped like the Kraken, but it does what it should just fine.
An extra comment needs to be made though as Amazon has requested that this product be rated on the slightly oblique virtue of warmth. Well, I can honestly say that this is the warmest USB stick I've had to pleasure to use. When I'm downloading content on it, I'll happily grip my hands around it and warm my pinkies up - it attains just the right temperature, i.e. a warm July in Hunstanton. I understand that there are USB sticks that pump out glorious amounts of heat like a Miami summer, but being typically British I grumpily avoided such blandishments.
I would advise that, despite using it as futuristic bed warming pan like a Steam Punk Victorian, it never quite heats the interior of the blanket with quite the vim it should. Maybe the intention is to use the whole set of USB sticks to warm up the bed though I haven't tried it yet.
In conclusion - great for storage and warm enough, though should never be used as a substitute to proper central heating.
