Convenient way to buy

Most of us have more than one bathroom so this is a convenient and cost effective way to buy. Seem to smell just as when I buy them in store.

Lovely packaging, but overpowering smell

I’ve been buying Bayliss & Harding soap for years (mainly black pepper & ginseng)
I usually like citrus scents so when I saw this I was keen to try it.
The packaging is lovely.
Unfortunately however the soap has an incredibly overpowering, chemical like smell to it. It reminds me of a powerful cleaning product. Visiting relatives didn’t think much of it either - my father actually went to the kitchen to use washing up liquid on his hands to get rid of the smell!
I definitely wouldn’t buy this again.

I always buy lovely hand wash for my daughter. I knew she wasn't happy with this product because she didn't comment on it. Well, I finally realise why after using it myself : it has no scent whatsoever. Maybe a mistake?
Needless to say that I won't be buying this again and I am going back to ebay!

Bought to make gifts for carers but sadly 2 of the bottles were damaged & leaking. Spoke to Amazon about it & they're sending a free replacement out tomorrow as due to being housebound I cannot get to a post office to return them plus I don't have a printer! Hopefully they'll all be in tact. Other than that, they're excellent value for money.

Virtually no smell

It looks good on the sink, but there is no smell. I put it on my hands, opened it to smell the bottle - nothing (or more accurately, the faintest indication that it is not ‘nothing’, but it is so faint that it is unidentifiable). Previously I had a wild rose and raspberry leaf one which had a beautiful smell, but they don’t make that anymore it seems. Very disappointing - I shall go to my garden to smell the roses there.

I can hardly smell this and I’m known for having a very strong sense of smell. I like a scent when washing my hands so I’ll not purchase this one again. I also found it quite drying on my hands do I’ll stick to the Jasmine & Apple was which I normally use.

Have used Baylis and Harding liquid soap many times befor in different fragrances but not this one. I am usually very pleased with scent and lather but these do not lather easily, having to use loads of squirts for a decent lather. Also not impressed with scent, sounds lovely combination of peach, peony and jasmine but very disappointing. Would not purchase this type again.

I was not impressed with this item as there was very little scent to it and just using one pump did not produce a good lather so needed to use twice as much, just as well that it is a big bottle. I have used Baylis and & Harding Royale Garden before - the pink one - but this is not the same.
