Awful Fit kit

Just got this item, went to fit our 42 inch tv on it. Ive fitted loads of large tvs in the past, our very heavy plasma is still on the wall after a few years.
I was surprised to see cheap raw plugs and what looked to me as a very questionable strength arm. Shouldn't have worried, as soon as the tv went on the mount i heard it shift and removed the tv straight away. our tv is 14kg and 42 inch so it should be designed for it. It didnt take much to remove the half pulled out raw plugs either.
If you have anything larger than 30inch i would avoid this item its too flimsy for larger tvs. The fit kit need to me changed as it is it is not up to the job it was intended.

Use a 8mm hole, not a 10mm as suggested !

Bracket is ok, a little looser on the rotation than one I bought previously that was similar (but different supplier)
The bracket attached to the TV is separate so easy to attach to the wall bracket.
NOTE :- the instructions say a 10mm hole for the supplied plugs, DO NOT DRILL 10MM !
The plugs spin loose, had to use my own 10mm coach screw plugs and coach bolts i luckily have in my van.
Use an 8mm sds bit, the supplied plugs should then be a better fit.

Lots of options for lightweight TV's

Great little TV wall mount lots of options for mounting different sizes from vesa 75 x 75 upto vesa 200 x 200. There is lots of options for mounting with loads of spacers and bolts, (just not mine), although, thinking about it, I don't think the big M8 mounting bolts would fit through the brackets holes. There is a massive degree of flexibility as you can turn the TV a full 360°, so even if you didn't mange to get it on dead straight you can turn the TV to your preference, just remember to pinch the nut that let's it spin.

Only 2 problems I have had with the wall mount, first was the bolts to hold the TV on that came with it were M4, M6, and M8, unfortunately the TV was M5 so I had to source those elsewhere.

Then there was the wall plugs, not the greatest as the first one took no problem but the second just destroyed itself, so it was a quick trip to hardware shop to get decent wall plugs. I also found out the wall was Coal Ash I was putting it on which was not the most fun thing to drill, the big coach screws it comes with have held it well.

I would definitely recommend this articulated TV mount arm, if you have a nice and light TV mine was just over 1.5kg, so not a problem for weight, and also if you are putting it on anything other than horrible Coal Ash walls.

Just got to do some cable management now!

I bought this TV mount because my old one didn’t have enough pieces and I need to keep my toddler from touching the screen.

All the pieces came together quite easily and it was easy to understand the directions.
I had a professional come and install it and he had some trouble.

Firstly the screws weren’t small enough for my TV so we had to find some others. (I have a 36in?)
Then it was a washer went missing and there were no spares, so we had some of those too.

Then when he put the mount into the wall and tried to mount the TV on it it came out! He was holding the tv thankfully .
He went back into his truck and picked up some heavy duty plugs for the wall and spent about twenty minutes putting them in.

The plugs that came with ours were not safe for even our smaller tv.
It seems to work finally, and took about an hour to install even with all the trouble.
Will see if it lasts!

I purchased this to use as a diy project. it was cheap and had good reviews.
it does seem nice and strong. far more than I need but i like.

I have a small space for my music studio, a mic stand takes up far too much floor space, and mic arms aren't strong enough to hold the weight of my sound guard, mic and the shock mount (akg one is quite heavy) not to mention my desk wouldnt hold that weight even if I found an arm strong enough.

so I thought id try making a wall mount for it. and thought of tv brackets as they're strong and made to hold decent weight (dont want it dropping my mic!)
this can aparently hold up to 20kg, which is far heavier than my equipment, which is perfect and based on the feel of the build quality id say thats fairly acurate.

Im proud of myself for this one, quite simple and id recommend to anyone wanting to do something similar.

I removed the bolt that was attached to the end, the bolt on this was hammered in so this took a couple hours of hammering with various tools, pulling bits of metal with pliers and then once losened enough I had to saw the bolt off. there might be models that you could just unscrew? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but this one will take some work.

then I just mounted to the walland used a long bolt to hold my mic and sound guard up. now I have a mic that doesnt take up any floor space and I can move it around and adjust to perfect angle. a successful project.

for £13 this was a great buy.

Very strong, solid mount and, unlike many other brackets on sale, clever design doesn't obstruct any rear access to wiring points on smaller TVs.
The included wall bolts and plugs for use on a solid wall are never going to let you down, but you ideally need a slim socket or ring spanner to tighten them fully down as the clearance space around the hexagon head precludes the use of most spanners!

It arrived well packaged and on time as always. Inside the box is everything you could want to assemble the bracket (and many things you won’t need)! Very easy to put together and easily configured for the tv, in my case a Samsung 23” which is now installed in the conservatory. The bracket is very sturdy and the tv can fold back to the wall when not in use. All in all I can’t fault the bracket and would highly recommend.

Suitable for a smaller tv

I had difficulty obtaining a wall bracket for our new Toshiba 24inch tv as the mounting plate was very small. This mount has been ideal as it can be adjusted to accommodate a range of TV sizes with different mounting plates.

Manufactured from steel the mount is supplied complete with all components to fix to a standard wall. Due to the stresses involved in using the mount on a stud wall, I did purchase an additional and separate fixing kit for a stud wall and would advise anyone considering this option to do the same: even a lightweight tv places condierable pressure on a stud wall and therefore, use good quality fixings as opposed to those supplied.

The arm itself offers a range of options to adjust the viewing angles. Ours is set up and fixed pretty much in one position, where it stays, however, it is simple to adjust the viewing angle if required and once set, the angle is held securely.

Had some apprehension about ordering this, having never attached a TV to a wall before and wondering why there was such a range in prices of similar looking solutions.

But I took a punt and am very pleased. It was easy to assemble and came with a decent range of screws, washers and spacers, and it holds my new 43" screen via the 200 x 200 vesa holes securely.

If I was to nitpick at this stage, I've found the main hinge/arm movement a little stiff when repositioning the screen to suit different viewing angles, but it's not a big issue and may well be adjustable to a certain degree if I tinker.

Certainly no regrets for the £13.42 that I paid.
