I have a father who has spinal discs removed and arthritis in his hips. My mother suffers with chronic scoliosis and finds it very difficult to walk and suffers with chronic pain in the lower spine. I bought some of these patches and they willingly allowed me to stick on on each of them where the pain was located. Both felt relief after about 30 mins and they felt more at ease for most of the day. My overall rating is 4* however because these patches don't stick all that well.

About as warm as an iceberg

Wow these heat patches are total rubbish, I’ve had warmer cold showers. Really poor don’t waste your money. They simple don’t get warm. The only good thing about was the adhesive. I wouldn’t recommend this product at all.

Warmth lasts longer than expected

The packaging says 24hrs but I actually get a little bit longer than that from mine. Not sure if it’s because I wear it between layers of clothes or not but they work well.

Doesn’t always ease the pain but having a heat sensation shifts your mind from the pain to the heat so I suppose in that sense they help with the pain.

The heat isn’t too hot that it burns but it’s a nice constant heat, these really help with back pain I have regularly.

They stick quite well , I wear them stuck to the outside of my underwear for lower back pain so my jeans tend to hold them in place but even without them they seem to stick really wel.

Happy with purchase.

These did produce a nice, warmth constant heat all day, Not hot, just warm.
I wouldn’t have wanted it hot to be honest, warm is enough.
I even used one overnight & it stayed stuck on until I showered that evening.
Unfortunately I have quite sensitive skin, being allergic to nickel, & some adhesives, from plasters.
So this did leave me with an itchy rash where the adhesive had been.
But nothing a bit of hydrocortisone cream didn’t sort out in a day or so.
At the time I bought the box of 7 patches, they were a reasonable price, but sometimes these types of items can go up & down in price periodically.
But overall, I’d say they were a success, & gave me some comfort during a sacroiliac joint issue I have been having recently.

Good Pain Relief

I bought these because I have constant shoulder pain and heat relieves some of that pain.

They adhere well to clothing and do not leave any residue when they are removed.

Recently I've been applying the patches directly to my skin with no ill effects. I decided to do this because, when applied to my t-shirts they would move slightly if the t-shirt moved. When applied directly to the skin they don't move.

I've only given 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1) They only get warm and I would prefer them to get much warmer (hot) but I understand they can't do that otherwise people would be suing the manufacturer for burns; 2) After a few hours they start getting hard and inflexible and become a little uncomfortable.

I've tried other makes (i.e. Deep Heat) but they barely get warm at all so I'm going to stick with these Cura-Heat patches.

Limited relief

If you have nobody to help position the pads, it is difficult to position and orientate them in the correct place. Sticking to clothing next to skin, when you turn, your clothing, nine times out of ten, moves in the opposite direction, so when you straighten up, the patch isn't where you thought it would be. Several of the patches would not adhere at all. Once successful with sticking and positioning (You only get one crack at it) The relief is noticeable. My thoughts are that if a reusable belt or similar was provided it would be far easier position the pad.

Used loads of times. They do help. Costs alot using daily but think they are worth buying for relief. And always stay on
For those new to these don't put on skin. Only on clothing. Ie bottoms or top where pain is. I use all the time and I do lay down with them in and for me it's fine as they get hot but not too hot that it's uncomfortable and the heat slowly releases at first then remains till goes cold hours later and patch will go hard. Pull off clothing and throw patch. Lower back for me they are perfect.
Just wish they were lower price as have to use a lot.
If you can get in 7 pack that's best value usually.
5 stars if cheaper. 4 stars as price but high for regular use

I usually get these from pharmacy and pay the same price but for just 3 in a box, I bought these together with other heat pads as a package. Excellent value for money for so many products, never tried some of them before so I was a bit unsure but I needn’t have worried. The only down side that I found was the neck pads only have sticky at the ends, with the weight of the pad, it didn’t stay stuck for long.

I didn't expect these patches to be worn outside on your clothes - how can you realistically do that unless you have layers of clothes covering it.... you can't walk around at work or out with 'things' stuck to you. Sadly, too late to return when I tried to use one & discovered the way they have to be applied.

These were fairly cheap to purchase and helped me when I hurt my back at work. They cannot adhere directly to the skin but still work well attached to a tee shirt. The only problem with this is wearing it out and about in hot weather as it looks unsightly if you can’t cover it up with another layer.
