This did stop working within it's guarantee period but I can't fault the seller. After initially struggling to find any guarantee/warranty details within the instruction booklet and looking on Amazon to find they only cover 30 days after purchase I found details and contacted the seller direct. They got back to me straight away and dispatched a brand new compressor as soon as it was back in stock with Amazon. Great customer service, many thanks.

Firstly the positives;
- nice compact design
- very easy to set pressure and use
- nice carry bag
- cables pack away neatly
Not so great;
- not the fastest to inflate, it took me just over 10 minutes to increase my tyre pressure from 35psi to 50psi in my 255/70/18 so doubt claim of 0-35psi in 6:30 minutes !
- question +/- 1.5 psi as I set up 45 psi in front tyres and 50 psi in rears and then checked on my cars tyre pressure readings and they were reading 3-5 psi lower than on inflators gauge panel?? I double checked with my trusted independent tyre pressure gauge and the pressures were low! I’m glad it’s on the low side
- quality of product is ok for £20 but would expect better if paying £30 mark

Would a recommend - yes as it’s very easy to use and does job but if I paid £30 then no and would check out others before use.

I can't write anything to fault this car tyre inflator. My tyre pressure monitor is always going on at me to do my tyres. With this inflator it's replacing a foot pump. So it's already much quicker. The snap on air hose makes life a lot easier than the official mercedes benz one which came with the car. That one is poor. I did have an RAC inflator too and that was far too slow. This is rapids. Clearly tells you where you are at and then goes back in the boot. Brilliant product. Highly recommended and that's why it gets 5 stars.

This is brilliant little kit. I had used some branded ones previously like aa and rac and the compressors were so loud and took too long to inflate. The fact you can set a pressure start inflating it and go do something else is very appealing to me. The cable management at the rear of the unit is good. It also comes in a neat little bag to keep it clean. Worth investing as within the year it pays for it self instead of paying 50p-£1 per inflation. I have had no need to use the light yet but seems like it would be bright enough.

Now, I'll admit that tyre inflators aren't usually the kind of thing I get excited about. However, as the disgruntled former owner of two tyre inflators that were badly designed, I've been on a mission to find the perfect model and for me, this is the one. I am not a car enthusiast, just a middle-aged woman who knows it's sensible to check tyre pressures regularly, and I find a good gadget helps make boring jobs easier. The two previous tyre inflators both had really horrible power cable storage, inside the unit itself, which made it hard to keep the power cable tidy and invariably led to skinned knuckles when trying to force the cable back inside once done. Not so with this one!! The power cable storage is simple and neat on the back of the unit, and in fact was such a joy to use that I actually unwound the cable just so I could tidy it away again. Yes, I realise that's quite sad, but I really am so happy to find something that is so easy and quick to tidy away, and that fact alone will make checking tyres a more enjoyable job to do each month. The rest of the features work well - the gauge is clear and easy to set and read, the bit that fits onto the valve is a flip connector that quickly attaches and detaches, the emergency light is useful. This one's a keeper.

Good for what it can do

Let's look at the bad points first, the first picture shows a cable with a knot coming out from inside the case, then it goes back inside, I did open up and have a look and it seems that it acts like a cable strain to stop the power cable from being pulled out completely, as I couldn't see place for it anywhere inside and couldn't see a way to contact the seller to ask, only return it.

The second picture shows the power cable wrapped around, I tried many times (both ways) but couldn't see a way for it to wrap it and house itself neatly, when I recieved it some of the cable was looped around itself, like the cable was too long/short.

Now the good points, light easy to use works fine, faster then a foot pump, the time it takes me to pump up one low tire with a foot pump takes the same amount of time to do all four tires, for the price and what you get, I can overlook the strange design defects.

Read the manual and used it without any issues. Has a load of LED lights on the side so that helps in the dark. Just plug into the cigarette lighter port and turn it on. I've only tested it on my car and the bike and both worked. I'm loving the size so I'm keeping mine in the car boot. They stuck a spare fuse in the box and it has one of those long pointy valves for foot balls which is cool.
For the price I'm happy I got this now, I hate using foot pumps, life is to short.
Good small and effective unit.

The instruction leaflet indicated that KPa was the only measurement displayed, but when I started to use it I found it can flick between KPa, bar and psi, so much easier to use than expected. The snap on connector fits easily and I have pumped to 56psi with no trouble. A bit noisy but not bad, it slowed down considerably at the higher pressure and completed in less than five mins. I’m pleased and would recommend this product.
