Not from a previously known brand, this was ordered partly out of curiosity and to consider as a possible Christmas gift idea. Very economically priced and appropriately boxed, it could be gifted for any occasion.
"Fun Water Amber Ambition Fragrance for Men - 100 ml" is a more varied alternative in its fragrance notes to the brand's 'Body water' aka its EDT. It is the stronger fragrance of the two products but not as heavy or long-lasting as some of its more expensive, famous brand alternatives. Some of its fragrance notes and ingredients are common to both but several more are introduced with this. It has a fruity top note that is primarily citrus-based with a strong hint of pink pepper, a spicy mid-note layer that adds variety and a base layer that includes both the woody notes of cedar, sensuous vanilla alongside others. It was initially sprayed on the back of a hand and wrist.
In consequence of its varied layers and a greater variety of ingredients, its fragrance is constantly changing over time as one level fades and a second or third begins to influence the effect. The overall effect is interesting although not dramatically strong. Although interesting, its pricing precludes the inclusion of any ingredients to 'fix' its fragrances and to extend the time its presence will continue to be perceived after first application. It is possible that reapplication will be needed to cover a long day, for example, an event in the evening after a day's work although there was some evidence of its existence after 12 hours, a shower and several intermediate washes although only noticeable to some.
Based upon past experiences with other broadly similar fragrance combinations especially those that also include cedar, sandalwood or rosemary wood base notes, it is thought that this could also appeal to some females for their personal use despite the existence of a parallel range of female fragrances from the brand which share several ingredients although presumably also featuring florals.
Future purchase is a possibility; conversely, that is very unlikely in respect of the brand's Body Water. Its pricing may be its strongest feature.
