The right balance.

First aid kits tend to either be a bit sparse or contain enough kit for WW3. I think this one strikes the right balance for one or two day active outdoor activities. I'll be using it for mutliday hikes,
and longer trail runs with my trail back pack. It looks like a good size for sportives too. I liked that this one had an ice pack.

There is space in the kit if you want to customise content or need to make your own additions such as personal medication.

Construction / stitching is pretty good. The products inside also have a good shelf life up to 2024 in my case (written 2019), I've had other kits which have expired within a year in the past which was a bit pants.

The little annodised torch and mini carabina is a nice touch. Ok it's not going to beat my Peztl Nao but having a spare light source to change the batteries in other devices or just quickly find something in the dark is always useful.

(Hint: there is a plastic insulator inside it that you have to remove to get it working, you also have to flip the little button battery cartridge so that the negative terminal is towards the front of the torch)

Great kit but clip broke

This first aid kit is fantastic. I’ve put a few extra bits in mine like paracetamol, however they were a squeeze to fit in! The clip isn’t great, though, and came loose very quickly, so now I store the kit in my bag rather than hang it on my bag. Also, the torch is bright, but to turn it on and off, you have to take the little piece inside of the torch, rather than use a switch, which isn’t ideal. Other than that, fantastic product.

I received this recently and I haven't tested all the items yet (we're in lockdown because of the virus), but by the looks of them all, I am extremely pleased. This kit is just what I was looking for. It's light but packed with so many useful things. I'll be making a video preview /review of it soon on my channels because I think it's a great piece of kit to have. I love it when I find products well-designed. I'm quite petite so for me it's paramount to have a lightweight hiking kit at all times. I've been putting together mine while we're in quarantine and I can't wait to use all these things. I don't like buying lots of things, or bulky ones. I like having a minimalist style, so when I find something like this that can help me achieve more things, I get really excited.

Thank you for putting this together so well! I'm sure it will make explorations safer and even more exciting!

This is fantastic little kit, especially for the price. I bought it as part of a Christmas present for my brother and my hubby and I are so impressed we are going to order a couple more to keep in the car and for when we go hiking.
The caribena clip on the one I had broke when I was wrapping it for my brother. I went directly to the website and filled out the contact form and within an hour I received a reply from a Tom who is posting me out a couple of new ones first class tomorrow. As other reviews have stated, for it's size it has a good variety of content on one little pack, including a foil blanket and mini torch. There's also spare oom to add a few extra items if required (extra plasters etc). We purchased this for my son's DofE expedition and it was just the job. It can aldo be worn on a belt if you prefer to carry it that way.

Fabulous first aid kit

This is perfect. Small, lightweight and with pretty much everything you could need. I carry this around in my handbag all the time and I honestly don't notice it unless I need it. It has room to add your own little bits if you need it, I have added painkillers for example.
Additionally, I had a problem with the mini torch (apparently there was a bad batch a few months ago) and I got in touch with Guardsy direct and they were amazing. Fantastic customer service and they sent a new torch out to me that same day.
High recommend.

Brilliant product, by far the best first aid kit i have purchased its a great size nice and lightweight and compact, ideal for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors. As a keen mountain biker this will be something which i carry with me all the time, not just for myself but for friends or anyone i may encounter who requires medical assistance.

The first aid kit has all the essentials you would need for basic first aid such as plasters, bandages, antiseptic wipes and even a ice pack and emergency blanket are all included which is a bonus, and not many first aid kits include.

For the price of around £8 its a bargain, also it includes a small torch which is rather handy. I did have some trouble with the torch not working but after speaking to Guardsy via Instagram i got it working in the end.
Definitely my go to first aid kit, and i will certainly be buying more in the future.

This kit is the perfect size for fitting into a rucksack without adding too much weight or bulk. There is even space enough to add extras. Whilst we, luckily, didn't have to use it much on our walking holiday it did mean I had plasters to hand when my husband got a blister! Well worth the money.
