Great interdental heads

These were purchased in error due to my own fault.
I was trying to buy regular replacement heads, but these are the interspace/interdental heads, which is basically a skinny version of the regular toothbrush head.
The bristles are firm and to a great job getting in between your teeth, as well as getting into the odd little gaps at the back on my mouth around my wisdom teeth that the regular brush struggles to get properly.
I'm glad I didn't return these heads as they now form a part of my regular brushing. Because they are so skinny you can't really clean your whole mouth with them, so you need to swap out the regular heads for these interdental ones, but the result is well worth the effort.

My motivation for buying this was to reduce the intrusive interventions of my hygienist on a three monthly basis. I am in fear of some of my fillings being pulled off, and increasingly I am left with sore gums. Anything to at least go some way, to reducing her insistence on conventional flossing brushes, tapes, threads or her sharp instruments. These brushes do get between the teeth and appear to work. How effective? The truth will emerge at my next visit. They are easy to use. I suspect they will wear out fairly quickly.

I have always struggled with dental floss - I have lost track of how many times I was going to have to go to work with a piece stuck very firmly between my teeth. And I always got told off by the hygienist for not cleaning between my teeth better. Having tried various other brushes and also getting into a mess with them, I finally spotted these on Amazon. I have no idea whether my hygienist will be impressed but I certainly am. They are a doddle to use. I don't need to be a contortionist to reach the back of my mouth, they don't get stuck and I feel that they are actually working.
I wouldn't use them on their own for daily cleaning - I think you need to use an ordinary brush head for that. But for an additional boost these are brilliant.

I am a retired Dentist and have used interspace heads myself for many years. In my opinion they are essential for maintaining periodontal health in addition to improve cleaning around bridge abutments & orthodontic appliances. When in practice I used to say to my patients - brush your teeth and clean your gums. Patients would query what I meant - which would easily lead on to us discussing how to maintain periodontal tissues efficiently.by using a mix of standard toothbrush heads, interspace heads & bottle brushes.

I have a Oral B AI tooth brush which comes with the app, since using the app I actually really enjoy brushing my teeth. I feel I’ve learnt now to brush my teeth properly and I’ve noticed an incredible difference in my teeth.

I’ve tried flossing but I don’t like the feeling of using tape in between my teeth. I always feel like I’m doing it wrong. I find them little inter-dental brushes really fiddly and I end up just prodding at my gums. These brushes cut all the faff out, it makes it really quick and simple to clean between your teeth. My mouth and teeth feel so much cleaner.

The brushes do not feel really hard or harsh to use, they’re soft but you can feel them working. Really comfortable, they do not cause any issues with sensitivity. If you have cavities or open nerves, ie. bad teeth, I can’t imagine poking this around your mouth would feel great. I don’t have any issues using these!

A good way to finish brushing your teeth. Really decent for cleaning behind wisdom teeth. A really good alternative to flossing.

What can I say about these tiny brushes only that they’ve saved my teeth, my dental hygienist recommended them as I had had gum disease ( ex smoker ) which I now have stopped the gum disease with a lot of work, while my receded gums won’t come back they won’t get any worse as the damage has already happened, but these tiny brushes can really get into the tiniest space that a normal brush hasn’t a chance of reaching and my dentist and dental hygienist are over the moon with the results 😁

A revelation. A bit melodramatic you may think, but once you try them you'll know what I mean. No more faffing around with bog standard interdental brushes and dare I say it... no more floss... maybe not, but these are great, nevertheless.

I have an overly fancy Oral B electric toothbrush. I say 'overly fancy' because in my experience the Oral B range is great until you get to the type that comes with timer for wall, varying pulsating options and all sorts of heads/carrying cases. I was given one of the 'fancy' type for Christmas and although I am very grateful it cost £60 and is no more better than the £30 type. I say all of this because regardless of what type you have this interspace brush head is a must, it cleans so well between the teeth, certainly gets to areas other heads either struggle with or are too big for. Use it daily alongside an ordinary head and you can be certain you clean your teeth well.

My dental hygienist recommended this small toothbrush head for me to get behind my molars which were gathering tartar.
Fortunately I already had an Oral B toothbrush so now I use the two heads. I am hoping that on my next visit there will be an improvement.
Not sure about longevity as only received recently but so far so good.

Yes, they are little bit more precise then normal brush heads but not a big difference because you can not press it I'm into tight spots. As the pressure is not to be used with electric toothbrushes, this head does get into corners but not much more then normal brush.
I think the people who have big gaps between their teeth could benefit from this. Maybe people with braces too, who want to see what exactly they are cleaning and where.

My dentist suggested this Oral B head as I had some issues reaching certain areas with the floss. It was harder than I expected but still fine. The only down side it's the gap between the teeth has been increased between some teeth. I have really small gaps but a couple of them have increased and now when I smile looks like I have something between my teeth and it's actually the gap. :(
