Having tried a fair few cat litters I have finally found a non clay non craggy non messy litter wees turn to solid lump so easy to move doesn't crumble as you scoop either 1st time trying and won't be the last on me list from now

Not the best cat litter

Ordered this as cheaper than usual brand. It’s very fine and Sandy. When wet it clumps so I thought that’s good easy to remove the clump. The problem is it sticks like glue to the bottom of the litter box even with the litter scoop I found it hard to scrape it out. As it’s so sand like it flicks all over the place and is awful to clean up. Sticks to your feet etc. I won’t be purchasing this agin. I think I will stick to my usual brand.

This is absolutely brilliant and clumps far better than the leading brands. Due to the fine consistency of it, I do find I end up using more, as the litter itself is a finer substance than other brands. That being said, smells weren’t as noticeable, it really does clump and was so easy to remove. The tray itself underneath was left cleaner too due to the clumping facility. My cat who is usually fussy didn’t take notice of the change one bit! Substantial reduction in litter all over the floor by her tray, this is a main reason I changed the litter as I was fed up of litter on the floor. With this one, there really is next to nothing on the floor. Only thing I would mention is the unscented litter is a grey colour which isn’t the most aesthetically appealing and would much prefer a white colour which they only do in scented! However, for a fraction of the price of main leading brands, this gets my vote! Very pleased and one happy cat!

This stuff turns into an awful cement like substance that sticks like glue to the tray. Water & cleaner etc would not remove or dissolve it. It had to be scraped off outside. It took half an hour to clean the tray and made a terrible mess. Never ever again would I use this. This is not what clumping should mean. If I hadn’t just bought the cat litter tray I would have thrown it away. It would have been far easier to clean for puss to have peed on the floor.

At last a dust free litter

I was using Pets at Homes own branded clay clumping litter and had been for years. We have two large cats and two large litter trays. We would get through a lot of that stuff. It also produced so much dust! One of our cats has breathing difficulties and so I started searching for a new dust free litter. Most were so expensive. Then I found this stuff. Wow I’m amazed by it. No dust at all. And it clumps really well so it’s easy to remove waste. We also seem to be using a lot less. I’ve now got it on a subscription which I’ve had to amend from 4 bags every 2 weeks to 2 bags every 3 weeks. If you’re thinking about trying a new affordable dust free clumping litter, I’d say give this a go!

Pointless and not impressed

Brought as substitute for normal litter. Not impressed. Supposed to be clumping cat litter and it takes forever for this to happen so when you scoop out pee, nothing is in a solid mass. Only of you wait for 20 mins after does it clump. Horrid grey colour too and feels and looks quite rough

I really like Sanicat clumping oxygenised litter, but that is very difficult to get hold of at present so I turned to Amazon for delivery. This is the Spanish original version & I find that it is stickier & not so easy to clean out of the litter box. However staying with it, as I cant get out & about (severely disabled) to search for an alternative.

I really expected better of Sanicat litter. I normally buy Sanicat Gold and I love it, but it wasn't in stock and I would have to have waited a week so bought this Sanicat instead.

It doesn't seem to matter how much you fill the tray, the pee balls always touch the bottom and it is hard to scrape it off. The pee balls tend to break up as well. It soon smells too. I never have any unpleasant odours from the gold litter. He makes more of a mess with it as well as he seems to scratch about more tossing loads over the side.

No nasty odours, and so easy to clean. Clumps into solid before buts go and stick to the bottom of the litter box, which makes it so easy to scoop and keep fresh for a long time.
I would not go back to using any supermarket alternatives, this is the best litter sand.

Given the price of this cat litter, I honestly can’t complain much. It gets the job done.

Pros:
- very affordable

- good absorbency, we never had to clean off a wet litter box

- some but minimal trailing

Cons:
- poor odour control. We use a hooded litter box and every day we lift off the lid to clean, the odour is very pungent.

- When you scoop off a clumped up urine patch, it breaks easily creating tiny clumps you can’t catch with your scoop.

- Clumped up urine patches also sticks to the bottom of the litter box a little, so you gotta do a bit of scraping to get it out.
