Big and bulky massager that heats up fast

I brought this as a gift for my husband who suffers from muscular aches and pains. I was intrigued enough to try it for myself and to listen to his feedback.
I had looked at several of these massagers and given my husband has rather broad shoulders and frame I took the time to do my research to ensure it was suitable. It just about works on his broad shoulders, but the length of the arm pieces wasn’t a good fit for him. This is obviously a subjective thing so trial and error is probably needed to find what suits every individual.

The main body of the massager is rather cumbersome and awkward to position. There are instructions on where best to place and position the massager dependent on the area you wish to be targeting which was helpful. But the massager has to be held/our ‘trapped’ in place to ensure it doesn’t move off that targeted area during the massager. This is rather tiresome but necessary to achieve a good pressure from the mechanism.

My favourite bit was the heat element that I found particularly beneficial in turns of providing pain relief and combined with the pressure, I enjoyed using this on my lower back (lying on tummy- needed help with placement and tucked ‘arm straps’ under tummy to steady it). It’s worth noting it does get relatively hot and quickly.

It’s mains powered, with a rather short lead- so be prepared to be very close to an electrical outlet/socket to use it device.

We’ve had the massager a few months only and have noticed some fraying of the edges of the material - so the degree of wear is higher than I would have expected in such a short time and with only limited usage.

Would I buy this again- probably not. It’s one of the better ones on the market and will give you a decent heated massage if you can wrangle it into position. It would save you money from potential cost of seeing a professional and is always on hand if you want a session, however to get true pain relief which is its purpose - I would pay someone professional to do it. They can target the exact areas you needed and apply significantly more pressure in the correct area/way. I think we are all worth it and should invest in ourselves this way- self care is underrated!

Aches, pains and old age, means, I’m looking for instant relief wherever I can. This was recommended to me by my neighbour, who let me have a go on hers, before purchasing. Whilst it’s not a cure, it defiantly provides relief, to my aching neck and shoulders. It’s extremely easy to use and very portable. There’s a choice of different modes, so you can choose the most suitable. It’s really pleasant to use, feels as thought there are lots of tiny fingers, gentle massaging your neck. Whilst at the same time, warming the area. It’s really comfortable to use, I tend to use mine, whilst sitting on the sofa. I like the way I can target specific area in my neck. There is an auto timer facility, so you could safely use in bed, however I’ve not tried that yet. The timer is fantastic for me, as I’ve fallen asleep twice, whilst using.

It’s so intense but feels so good, it really gets into the shoulders properly, my whole family tried it and they all love it!! I will be purchasing a few more for other family members. Really good little machine. I use it on and off for the tension in my neck and shoulders. You can feel it clicking over the knots to work them out. The modules can be a bit rough at times depending on how hard you pull down on the arms for pressure. I like a lot of pressure but the longest module can be a bit painful if pulled too hard. For those struggling with it at all, a blanket or jumper underneath helps with the plastic. I would recommend.

I'm giving it 4 stars as I tryed my friends one which took a big knot out the side of my lower back right side of my spine I felt GREAT As iv 6 crumbled discs & on 22 tablets a day but still feel pain This Took it Away So I ordered one Straight away when I got it I plugged it in & started using it on high mode for 15 minutes But Still had pain & then remember I shud have done my side because I rushed I done my spine well next day my whole back felt bruised for days I tryed it on top of my arms high mode & yep next day felt like i had a massive bruise so be CAREFALL it is very powerful even if you feel like it isn't but you will learn how to use after.

I frequently suffer from neck and shoulder pain, and this has only got worse during lockdown. My expectations were relatively low of this massager - however, I was very pleasantly surprised. It really kneads the neck and shoulders and you can apply more or less pressure by pulling the arms in the loops. I've already told friends about this and would highly recommend this product to anyone!

Other things majorly flawed is the power cable is way to short at around 1500 cm

I got this to accompany my ageing electric massager you sit up against to do the back and went on the reviews like so many of us. Not worth £40 . Will be sending it back
