The best kitchen roll at a bargain price!

I love Regina kitchen roll (well as much as a man can love kitchen roll I guess, maybe love is too strong a word here - let's go with really like) and find it the best of the bunch for absorbance etc.

The best advice I can give to my only child, and possibly the most important thing I've learned through my 48 years on the planet, is that cheap bin bags are a false economy. I might also add that cheap kitchen roll falls into that category too, Treat yourself to good quality kitchen roll, you are worth it!

I normally pay £3 for 2 rolls in the supermarkets, which appears to be a fairly standard price, but this worked out at under £1 a roll when buying 8. The rolls are huge and last for ages so this should in theory last our family for a few weeks (dependant on how much mess our daughter is making!)

In summary then this is excellent stuff and as good as kitchen roll as you can get, and a real bargain price (at least it was when I wrote this - apologies if it's doubled in price since then!)

I've always purchased Regina Blitz but have now switched to Regina XXL, it's now my first choice and No.1 favourite kitchen roll, bye bye Blitz, hello XXL. Why, well there's two reasons, firstly the price, this is £2 cheaper than Blitz for the same amount of rolls and with an extra 40 sheets per a roll. Secondly, the quality, Regina has done something to Blitz in that it's now thinner and not as strong, no doubt cost cutting which has effected the quality of the product yet kept the price the same.

This Regina XXL is obviously not as strong or absorbent as the Blitz but it comes close, and as it's cheaper then 'close' is good enough for me.

Each of the sheets are triple layered with a nice embossed pattern and are easy to tear off without leaving any torn shreds on the roll. The absorbency is sufficient, I admit I'll have to use an extra sheet or two on larger spills as compared to the Blitz but on a whole I'm still using the same quantity of kitchen roll per week as with the Blitz and I'm saving £2, that's £8 a month, £96 a year, it all adds up!

Until Regina put the price up on the this kitchen roll then I'm very happy to recommend it and I will be purchasing this from now on.

It's also sourced by FSC certified suppliers for the raw materials. They could do with swapping the packaging to a recyclable material just like with Blitz!

This product is advertised as if it was larger than this company’s original paper towel ITS NOT also the quality is poor and the individual sheets are much smaller NOT WHAT IT SAYS ON THE PACKAGING IE XXL
Would not buy again and would advise everyone to say with original product

This product is nothing like the description.. The sheets are actually smaller and thinner than the normal packs of Regina Blitz. The colour of the packaging is also different to the original product. Suggesting to me that these are a fake product, made by a different manufacturer. DON'T BUY.

Love this kitchen roll.It’s thick and absorbent and doesn’t break up even when wet.I foster dogs and have dogs cats and reptiles of own and I use a lot of tissue cleaning up messes and poop and this is great as so thick.It’s also great for kitchen and cleaning up after my teenage daughter who spills everything.I used to buy budget kitchen roll and really was false economy as this lasts twice as long without costing twice as much.Recently received 2nd pack.Great quality kitchen roll for multitude of household jobs and messes.Edit This is my 3rd purchase and still one of my favourite kitchen rolls.I tried Regina Blitz as was recommended but I found it very stiff and and felt very like blue paper towels from school days ( way too many years ago 😂).This is soft , quilted and absorbent and il be stick with this from now on 👍

We brought this as it was one of the few available on subscribe and save, and thought it would be so much easier. normally from supermarkets we buy Blitz which I would recommend or Plenty.
Unfortunatly the rolls are no larger then your average roll of kitchen roll so not sure why they are XXL?
Nothing at all like the regina Blitz in fact this really gives the regina brand a bad name. I thought for the price I would be getting a fairly decent kitchen roll something absorbent, but no don't be fooled...
there is very very little absorbency in this tissue at all.
for example we have cats, when furballs happen it takes almost half the roll just to clear it up without it soaking through the other side!!
Leaky fridge? forget it! you need the whole pack!!
