Quite a good game

I brought this game for myself (an adult) after having a spongebob game as a child. I find this game rather difficult and tedious though and I’ve actually stopped playing it after getting stuck. A young child would definitely have difficulties even getting past the first level. 100% a brain puzzler however it is a good game if you like a challenge!

Don't buy the switch version

Very fun and faithful to the original game, however, wouldn't recommend the switch port, the frame rate on certain levels makes the game borderline unplayable both in handheld and TV mode, the multiplayer mode is fine but nothing to write home about. Overall would recommend on xbox, Ps4 and pc but not the switch.

You would think a product designed for kids would at least allow you to get out of the first level! It’s tedious and extremely dull- I can’t locate the 5th spatula so my 4 yo ( I know it’s for slightly older kids but I figured it’s SpongeBob how hard could it be? He has managed to get through Mario Odyssey just fine), is stuck on the first level and extremely frustrated- there’s way too much narrative for a kids game and what’s happened to Mr Crabbs’ voice?? Total waste of money.

Its a great game im realy enjoying it, looks great and plays great. That being said there are a few problems with some character voices, mr crabbs and mermaidman sound awful, nothing like the proper characters.

Fun game not so great port

I enjoyed this game but this port feels poor, graphically it looks amazing compared to the original but even a year on it lacks that polish I would've expected from a developer such as THQ Nordic some parts of the gameplay still feel like they're stuck in the early 2000s then there's some pretty drastic frame drops I'd imagine the Xbox/Playstation version runs better than this.

I thought this would be a fun game themed around an immensely popular cartoon but to be honest it us more like a rushed poorly put together app you'd expect on a phone.

The graphical quality is comparable to PlayStation games from the early 2000s and the game itself is very simple lacking any real challenging content. This certainly isn't anywhere near as clear as the Mario games.

Overall very dissapointed and way Traded- In locally quickly after purchase.
