Deep massage heaven.

I. AM. IN. HEAVEN....wow. I had not realised now much my back was aching until we bought this massage cushion device. It’s awesome. I have taken a video that shows you the roller balls REALLY get into the muscles - not wishy-washy rollers - these really have a good depth into those sore bits ! Quite sturdy, good weight to it. Handy Velcro elasticet strap to hold either to chair or car seat so you can massage back or neck. Well chuffed. Love it.

Vigorous massage!

I bought this to use in our car, as the new car doesn't have the built-in seat massage that our old one had. Both myself and my partner have back pain, his from spinal/disc problems, mine from rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, and have found that reasonably gentle massage (as in our old car) works wonders on long journeys. Neither of us had tried shiatsu massagers before. Well, this item gives a very vigorous massage, even at the lowest speed setting, and neither of us could tolerate it as it was. However, putting a towel, folded over several times, over the cushion did help bring it down to a bearable level, although it does minimise the heat output. To be honest, we couldn't quite decide if it was helping or making things worse. It's also quite difficult to access the control buttons once you have it in place, as they're at the bottom of the left hand side. Neither of us was brave enough to try it as a neck massager. In addition, it has a short elasticated strap which wasn't long enough to fit around the car seat or the back-rest I use at home
If you need vigorous massage, then this cushion would be ideal for you, but I'm going to try one of the "vibrating" alternatives to see if that's any better for us.

It’s becoming an evening routine that I sit down in front of the tv after a long workday, and start using it on my back. Very quickly my wife comes in and asks me to hand it over to her. Than we start arguing about if I had it long enough but obviously I lose and have to hand it over. I wait than I get it back when she is done with it.
It’s got two buttons. One is on/off which controls the heat as well. The other controls the speed. Very easy to use.
All in all it’s a good device, releases tension, it’s in every day use.

What’s thickness about?

I’ve got one for home use, but I’m struggling to find a way to secure it without putting too much pressure on and causing pain on the pressure points...

I imagine in a car, or high backed office chair, this would be more ideal because there’s elastic straps.

Using at home, to secure against my neck, I achieve best results by strapping the elastic around my neck LOL!! PLEASE don’t actually do this yourself, it’s daft and it does choke a bit!

I have trouble with my shoulders and neck, the knots give me migraines. Unfortunately my first order was stolen because Amazon delivery driver put it out with the neighbourhood bins (instead of near my flat?) obviously my rating is re the product only.

Overall the product is good, it smoothly rubs and feels like a proper massage, and the harder you lean, the more ‘deep tissue’ it gets. When i was leaning on it too much, it only hurt my pressure points, so I know it’s covering the right area!

The warmth is really good for muscles, but always remember, if you’re using it to ‘pop knots’, make sure you drink plenty of water to wash out the released toxins from your bloodstream! (Any masseuse will say the same)
N.B. I’m not a masseuse, just had many and know a little about muscles and pressure points.

It’s a good device, just got to work out how to get best use from it.. wouldn’t recommend lying on it though, because you can’t regulate the pressure properly and your weight will become the only factor (so I imagine it’ll be painful?)

Dispite it being small and cheap it does the job nicely. Dont be put off buy it. I have back issues and this is gental enough for what I need and if you crank the power up it really goes for it. Well worth the buy! Wish I had got it sooner

I reviewed several products of a similar nature and opted for this one based on the fact that it claimed to provide deep tissue massage and the other reviews already provided were very positive. Having received the item and tried it, yes, it does provide gentle massage and the moving parts are okay, but I certainly wouldn't class it as deep massage at all. It would take the edge off really bad tension and pain, but nothing more than that. I bought it because I usually get a sports massage every 6 weeks due to pain in my neck and shoulders from working at a computer every day, but with lockdown, can't do this at present. If you want something that will provide gentle massage, this is okay. But if it has too much pressure placed on the rotating part (ie, to increase the pressure a bit to feel more like deep massage), it cuts out and stops rotating, even if only switched on for a minute or two. Also, I paid £37.99 and a few days later, noticed that the price had dropped significantly to £22.97.... I think the lower price is enough to pay for this, was annoyed that such a big price drop happened too

It is a great equipment!
It helps to relax tense muscles, I have had more expensive one and I gave it to family member due to pains, I bought this one much cheaper and the same results, although I dont have much pains but iam loving this.

Not too great for lower back or quadriceps as it is uncomortable to lie on it , but if for back then def. Worth to try attaching to a chair.

Iam very pleased and highly recommend this!

Gave 4* just because the plug is too short for me. I would like using this while I'm on the couch, though it doesn't reach (cm is written on the description, so I don't blame the manufacturer). I can only use it while at my bed, as I have a plug next to it. The massage it provides is very good, especially for people that may need it often and don't have the luxury or time to visit saloons. It is a kind of strong massage, so you don't get disappointed. Easy to use as well and the options of rotation swap and warmth are very handy. Price was good for what you get, they had it on £30, while normally these massagers cost around £40. Would be great idea for gift too! For future upgrade I would recommend a battery operated one (with 1,5-2 hours before recharging) and a remote control for the functions, so that you don't need to try and reach your back while you are nice and comfortable.
Would definitely recommend!!
