Whilst I feel as though it didn’t improve the longevity of my makeup, I do feel it provided a very flawless finish to my makeup. My foundation glided on and blended with ease and my pores looked minimised.

I believe it delivers on its claims to hydrate the skin, as my skin felt very soft and plump throughout the day. A little goes a long way with this primer - I find it works better by warming it with your fingers and applying a thin coating in a dabbing motion as opposed to scooping out a pea sized amount and applying with a massaging motion like with other primers.

If you’re looking something to control your shine, this original formula won’t keep you matte, and you would be best giving the mattifying variant a go.

This primer will last a long time. I’ve owned this primer for about a month now and I’m only just starting to make a decent dent in the surface of the putty. I can imagine that the tub will last me about 8-12 months with daily use.

I only got after the reviews on here, not sure what the fuss is about. I’m not overly wowed. Does it fill in pores? Sort off. Does it get rid of fine lines? No.
To be honest, I haven’t noticed a huge difference. The product is thin and a bit slippery, has no scent and goes on nicely. It has left my face a bit dry and cakey looking. I’m going to try putting on moisturiser first. Would I buy again? No I wouldn’t

LOVE IT! My foundation is usually patchy by lunchtime, and I struggle with dry skin. Used this for the first time yesterday and my makeup still looked great when I took it off at the end of the day!
This is the best primer I’ve ever used, and even though I paid a little more to get it from amazon (it’s £8 in Superdrug, but they’d sold out) it was totally worth the money.

This primer is incredible, I havent got many pores and the occasional spot but this primer makes my skin perfect, and any foundation last so long! (Even on your nose with a mask on for a few hours!!!)It's better than the all nighter one by a certain brand, I am hooked. Just buy it you won't be disappointed.

But by reading other dry skin sufferers reviews, I finally bought it. Finally my make up looks dewy and yet stays on around my nose where it starts to wipe away revealing my redness. YouTube beauty influencers will make you believe that with the right primer you'll look 10 years younger with fresher skin than a Snapchat filter. Unfortunately, that's not true if you have problematic or aging skin. So no primer (this included) will instantly make you look like you have the skin of a satin pillowcase without first resolving your skin issues. That being said, this primer is the best I've used and I'll keep on using it. While I still have my skin's natural texture showing through my makeup, my large pores are not as visible with this primer. So no, it's not as perfect as you think it will be, but it is a great addition to your makeup bag and without it, your makeup will not go on as smooth. Will be buying again!

I was desperate for this product having read the reviews and the fact that it was sold out at Superdrug for two weeks.

Its ok. It does the job but it isn't as fantastic as I expected it to be.

I use it with a make up sponge because its so easy to scoop up too much with your fingers. You don't need alot for coverage.

Its ok and good value for money.

So I'm.not the person who easily gives review on product but ... but after sooooo long trying award winning and other high brand primers I ll say I found my bestie .... before I tell Ihow it luks after applying leme explain I ve scaring and bumpy textures skin and but today I used this primer my skin soo soo smooth obviously can't cover deep scar but most of it and the finishing dewy soft look made me soo happy in the end . For v dry skin I ll say prep with some oil , moisture, or heluronic serum then apply thus
For oily skin after iceing then apply this .
And rest can apply who they feel like tbh it for all skin type only dry skin type complaining and it's becoz they not prep their skin .

I have combination mature skin and was looking for a less liquid style primer. Whilst it definitely doesn’t hide my pores or fine lines (at my age I don’t think anything would)….. it is a fabulous base …. Even just under a sweep of mineral powder, it doesn’t cake in my lines and feels just like a moisturiser on the skin. Compared to my usual primer it sits better and no pilling, which can be an issue for me with certain bb creams and concealers. I’ve tried it with a few different foundations and the such and it performs really well under them all. I’ll definitely be switching to Elf from now on.
