I live in Leeds and have not been bitten by any insects since I've had this product. On this basis I would recommend this for any tropical exploring. Word of warning - external use only, don't make my mistake and spray in your mouth or eyes

Not to be used with sun cream!

This spray doesn't work at all if you have any kind of sun cream on, I recently travelled to Mexico and used this product daily on top of sun cream, I was repeatedly bitten and the scent is choking! It does however confirm that you can't use it with sun cream on the back. Just be warned, i didnt notice this when i purchased it. I swapped it out for a bug repellent bracelet worn on my ankle which cost me £1.50 which worked brilliantly. Save your money and buy one of those instead!

What a great product! I always suffer from mosquito bites (they love me!) and in the past I even get bitten when using sprays. I took this with me when I went to Cyprus and used it before going out at night. In two weeks are got no bites at all! Brilliant.

I'm allergic to insect bites and this is the best product to keep insects far. Very easy to apply and lasts a very long time. Nice subtle citrus smell and no sign of the toxic breath taking smell of other insect repellents. Non greesy and non sticky, no residue left behind after application. I keep buying this as it is the best repellent I found so far!

Review - Strong smell and does help but plug in way better

We bought this when we went to Crete as my daughter always gets bitten by the mosquitoes. This did help but its not the one solution. We found that room spray and the plug in mosquito repellent to work better for getting a good night sleep.

Best result,
- Use plug in 30 min before bed time
- Use room spray to clear the room
- Close the door and close the windows
- AC on if the room has

Then when it comes to bed time the room is clear and most of the smell is gone. Add a spray around the ankles and shoulders for extra comfort at night.

Hope this helps someone just wanting to rely on this spray.

I hated this product, it doesn't dry for a start. If you accidentally brush against any clothing it takes the colour off them and on to your arms, same for things like bracelets etc. It stinks. Probably does the job of keeping bugs away but I risked nights with no protection and was fine so after 3 uses it got thrown away. If if dried it would be good.

I bought this for a trip to Brazil and I used it only once due to severe burning sensation I experienced. My skin also went bright red, it was akin to being sunburnt. I understand that DEET isn't particularly good for you but I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin but for me it was very painful to use. I did not use again but I appreciate that not everyone will get this reaction. Maybe opt for the next strength down.

Use this brand all the time and normally works. However buying this for the first time on Amazon I was eaten alive still even after reapplying often too. Wonder if this is even real product. Very disappointed and absolutely covered in bites. Probably a reason why it is sold here almost half the price than in my local supermarket. Never again buying it here.

What can I say? Mosquitoes, and for that matter, all other forms of life fear me. I haven't been bitten once since applying Jungle Formula and the noxious smell keeps other people away - a bonus in these pandemic-crazed times!
When it says to spray yourself in a well ventilated area, it's probably best to do it outside. I nearly offed myself by spraying it indoors. It's bloody lethal stuff.
