Leaves hair a little softer than the standard T-Gel shampoo.

I suffer from an itchy scalp and have always used T-Gel shampoo. I’ve tried others but for me T-Gel has always been the best in terms of getting rid or reducing the itchiness. The only drawback of it has always been that it leaves my hair feeling like straw so I though I would try this shampoo and conditioner combo.

I’m pleased to say this works just as well as the standard T-Gel shampoo and also leaves my hair feeling softer. It still could do with being softer though as other conditioners I’ve tried still leave my hair much softer than this.

Allergic reaction

My daughter has used T-Gel shampoo for years and loves it, so when I saw the 2 in 1 Conditioner I thought great I'll treat her and bought it. I got it post to her own address, when she tried it and told me what happened, I was so upset. She sent photos of her face and neck which looked as though they were burnt skin. As soon as she began to rinse her hair the burning started. Luckily she was in the shower and was able to pour water directly onto her face and neck. It just missed her eyes, but her forehead, cheeks, top lip, lips, neck and chest were bright red and burning. She has NEVER had an allergic reaction to anything before. The shampoo alone is perfectly fine, goodness knows what's in the conditioning to cause such a reaction. Neutrogena have been notified and supplied with her photos.

I used to use t-gel before moving to a more expensive dandruff shampoo because I wasn't a fan of the smell.
Since changing shampoos to a hair loss shampoo, I've noticed over the years my dandruff issue has returned.

I purchased some t-gel knowing it was the only way to get rid of my dry, flakey scalp, bracing myself for the smell but I'm more than pleasantly surprised. It smells amazing, and more importantly, after just one use, most dandruff has gone and the itchy, dry scalp is miles better.
My hair usually gets greasy after a day but with this, it stayed soft and clean for at least 5 days.

Very impressed, I'll be sticking with t-gel from now.

Great To Use - Another Good Neutrogena Product

I have scalp psoriasis and therefore dandruff and normally use Head & Shoulders but recently have found H&S had stopped helping my condition

I’ve just purchased this Neutrogena shampoo as well as the Jason one to try instead

I’ve already written a review of the Jason shampoo, I didn’t like it at all

This Neutrogena T/Gel 2 in 1 shampoo is absolutely lovely. It lathers well and has a really nice melon fragrance

Whether it helps my condition is probably too early to tell but I think there’s been a slight improvement already and because it’s a 2 in 1 with conditioner it also leaves my hair soft and manageable

The active ingredients are salicylic acid & piroctone olamine which are both supposed to be pretty good. The Head & Shoulders I’ve been using also has these ingredients but as they are well down on their list of ingredients I’m guessing H&S doesn’t contain as much of it as this Neutrogena shampoo

I’ve used quite a few Neutrogena products over the years and I’ve never been disappointed with any of them and this 2 in 1 is no different

If you suffer from dandruff or psoriasis of the scalp I’d certainly recommend giving this a try

Only negative is it’s quite expensive but if it works it’s a small price to pay

Actually found something that works

I normally use head and shoulders. Im not sure what skin condition I have, but my skin peels off like PVA glue, and I get bad dandruff to the point I can't wear black.
Doctor told me to try this stuff. As an avid hair washer, I use this every day (probably why my skins falling off), and it has sorted my hair issue out big time! I was skeptical at first, as Ive spent loads on e45 etc, and seeing the price of this was just typical. I believe its well worth the money now, and once Ive used these up, Ill be buying this again! The smell isn't at all overbearing, and it makes my hair feel nice and soft after washing.

I don't think sheerness is the word they're looking for but I gave it 5 stars. Smells better than the original tgel. However, you need to use a conditioner with this. It says its shampoo and conditioner but the conditioning part doesn't work. Seen some people say it doesn't work - I found you need to use it more often than original tgel to get the results; like 3 times a week. Once you got through the bottle you can return to a normal antidandruff shampoo or buy more of this! You do you.

Really good for Eczema

I have Eczema and usually got prescribed the cold tar T gel which has a weird smell.

This one on the other hand smells great, A little fruity, refreshing and fresh smell that I think everyone will like.
More importantly It seems to still keep my scalp in control just as well as the other one and leaves my hair very light and fluffy which is always an added bonus.

I've also used it on my niece who has eczema and she seems to likes it a lot more then the other one.

If you have eczema id 100% recommend trying this at least once to see if it works with your skin type.
it kind of just feels like an upgrade to the OG one.

My partner and I have been using this for years now. Before we started we had tried all sorts of shampoo (some very expensive) and they just did not work. Straight away this really does work and neither of us have had a problem since. If it is really bad then wash your hair with it twice, like it says on the instructions! It also smells nice and leaves my hair nice and silky like other shampoos. I suppose everyone is different, but it is definitely worth a try!

For some reason when i use regular shampoo my scalp becomes dry and dandruff comes back.

The original T-Gel is great, but you are not supposed to use it all the time... plus it has charcoal tar in it which smells horrible.

This T-Gel not only keeps my dandruff at bay but is also suitable for everyday use and has built-in conditioner for softer hair.

Compared to other anti-dandruff shampoo - this has never failed me and is more reasonably priced

It used to be the best hair shampoo on the market, always made my hair nicely soft and natural, used to be without scent and no parfumes. Now when they changed the product, also added scent like watermelon, it doesnt work same as before doesnt leave the hair soft and it just smells like one of those mainstream cheaper shampoo’s, no point to buying these anymore.
