I have been using a Microsoft Surface Pro for years (2 different ones over 6 years). As with many things that old they do not come with all of the modern components. Specifically, there is no USB C port. Recently I have been working in more locations where the company provides a modern docking station fitted with a USB C cable.
I thought I would see if I could find a converter that would work and came across this through an Amazon search. Ordered and arrived quickly. Today I arrived on site and plugged the adapter into the Surface Pro and then plugged the dock into the adapter. Within a few minutes, Windows was busy setting up the multiple devices connected to the dock. I now have a proper keyboard, mouse, headset, three screens and more external ports available to me.
Absolutely brilliant.
Not only that but there are 2 converters in the box so I have a spare should I lose one.

Burnt my PC motherboard

Plugged in my USB-C hub while it had my laptop PSU still plugged in, now my motherboard is toast with its USB headers smelling burnt.

It's not even that cheap, for that price it really should've had over-current protection.

These are excellent little adaptors that convert a standard USB port into type C.

You get 2 adaptors for your money and they work a treat on my Huawei MateBook PC. I have had no issues at all - they are well made and the connectors are snug. However note, these are USB 2.0 devices, so transfer rates are limited to 480 Mbps.

They are very small so they are unobtrusive in use but they are easy to lose! So, take care...

These are really great and do pretty much what they say on the tin.

However, they mention fast charge compatible but when I plug this adaptor into my Anker PowerPort and use my phones official USB-C to USB-C cable (which fast-charges from it's official wall plug or a Thunderbolt port on my laptop) it charges only at normal speed.. I thought it might be the Anker PowerPort, but another third-party cable I have which is USB3 to USB-C fast charges perfectly fine.. Not a massive issue, as I bought them more for compatibility than speed, but worth mentioning to potential buyers.

Recently upgraded ipad to ipad pro, these charge using USB C, so need a free socket to charge. However with this I have able to plug in to existing USB A charging station (4 charging units with one plug socket) and fits a treat. I would say that charging times are now longer (probably twice as long to fully charge) but in all honesty not a major issue.
Overall very pleased.

I was excited to receive my order of two adapters from Acessorz within two days only to
find that one of the adapters charging slowly. However, the second adapter did work
well so I was able to do the data transfer/sync. I decided not to try to return,
exchange or ask for a refund for the defective adapter because one is enough for me.

I received an email from Acessorz asking how I liked my adapters, if I had any problems
can feel free to ask them. I responded immediately and explained my issue with the
defective adapter. The Acessorz Team was extremely quick in responding with an apology
for the defective adapter and notification that they had issued a full refund to my
account because of the defective adapter.

This is a good company to work with.

I decided if I buy it I could take just one USB C to USB C cable on me to holiday and use this adapter if I wanted to connect my devices to my Laptop... and that what i did. This adapter works flawlessly and I had absolutely no problem with data transfer or charging my devices. Perfect solution if you do not want to carry a ton of cables... fife stars

I wasn't expecting it to work but I connected my usb c data disk to my usb 3 a laptop port and it mounted with no issues.

The build quality seems good, and they're nice and slimline compared to others I found on amazon.

Note: I also tried it in conjunction with a hdmi to usb c adapter but this didn't work. In case anyone else thought of trying it.

Brought a Logitech streamcam and realised it only supported type c connectivity where as my pc doesn’t have a type c connection. Therefore I was so unhappy because I was really stoked to use my new webcam, however these guys saved me!!

They work a treat. For what they are, you can tell it’s been made really well.

Would highly recommend and arrived in a few days.

I bought a multi port (ethernet, flash reader, USB hub, HDMI) to USB C device in order to attach to my mobile phone, but then wondered whether the same device would work when plugged into my laptop, as my laptop lacks a card reader. . . Only one way to find out: These little adapters. They do the job perfectly. They seem well designed and neither the female USB C, nor the Male USB felt loose.
Well designed and well worth the cost.
