Great nail clipper, so good that I soon lost it to my wife

I spoilt myself with this new toe nail clipper. The former one is still doing a great job but will be transferred to our holiday home.
This is a very nice Asian-made clipper, very sturdy and able to do the heavy lifting.
I couldn’t understand the Asian instructions, but it’s use is quite straightforward and it hasn’t led to any injuries yet.

That is.. my wife likes it so much that she has confiscated it – this reduced my appetite to turn to it.
Worse.. now after each shower she sits down on the edge of our bed - to cut her toenails!. .

In my view cutting toe nails is a very private activity that produces loose parts of bodily materials to be disposed of! It’s a strange paradox; it’s fine and perhaps even exciting if you touch someone's fingernails or hair when these are still attached to them. But it's gross to touch/see the exact same thing once detached. Shards of toenail are not pleasant to find in or around your bed. Not at all.

My aversion might have to do with a male colleague who clips his toe nails once a week at his desk. This has driven me nuts with toe nail-disgust.

Either way we’re now working hard to overcome this little challenge to our relationship. At least with our nails properly clipped there is less chance of stepping on one other’s toes.

Being the only man in a 5 person house.... I have to hide things to ensure I know where they are. With the fairer sex.... things can be miss-placed with all the borrowing without permission they do off of each other. I dread when I'm asked "oh, can I borrow your nail clippers".

I might get them back once and when I'm asked again, you're hit with the, and this is even if they got their own pair back and you can see them laying in the dressing table "oh but yours are better". At this point, this is when I just go back on to amazon and buy a new pair as I this point I know, they're lost to me forever.

That's how good these are folks. People steal them off of me. On the regular.

It is OK for the price.
It could have been a bit lower in price as I do not think it worth or cost a lot, just a simple basic standard, noting special nail cutter.
I recommend the supplier to pass the words to the manufacturer: The plastic envelope / box can be a lot smaller to save space on transportation creating less footprint and less carbon emission from all the transport involved. I believe we do not need such a presentation. After all customer would simply expect a nail cutter.

These do what they say on the tin - they cut my nails fine, and have a swing out file which is nice. There is some chinese text on them that I couldn't read - which doesn't help it look premium, but no complaints on the fuctionality. Would buy again.

These are the best nail clippers I have ever used. I am not one for writing reviews. In fact I have ordered hundreds of products over the years and not left reviews but really felt I needed to for this product as I'm so impressed. They are comfortable to use, very sharp and extremely good value for money. I have bought a number of pairs of nail clippers over the years ranging from inexpensive to expensive, £20 plus. These are far superior to all the others and the price is amazing. Could not recommend highly enough.

I had gotten this totake care of a fungal nail infection, the one i had was all worn out. got a new one it's exactly as it looks., does the job and the nail filing addition is quite handy, plenty of abrasion to get the job done. pop some rubbing alchohol on. my nails didn't fall off. so it's definitely doing something right then isn't it? what more is to say? economical option for nail care and it's worth it.

Not quite the size I was anticipating

Well let me just start with the fact that I have in the past preferred to use a pair of slighly wider nail clippers. That's beacuse I am a bloke.
Now, the product comes nicely packed into a see through box and has a nice feel about it.
However what I was expecting to get was a product that's cut for use in Europe.
It seem this one perhpas was not as it not only comes up with big chineese characters on its handle, offers rather narrow clipping blade (for me being a guy) and is sharp but not too sharp (I've been left with three jagged nails ) out of the ten I used the clipper for.
Particularly the blade width is the most disapopointing for me as if you look at the picture two of the listing and comapre it to the picture I posted (one with a red background) you will appreciate that the one from the listing is quite misleading as it makes the blade look as it was somewhat wider.
So - bottom line advice from me is: do not go crazy about it. Four stars I gave this product as I feel it does not deserve five.
This said for this price it's quite good value for money and it should not leave you biting your nails (other than to get the jagged fingernail edges )
