Scratch resistant - worth the money

Really easy to put on, fits the screen perfectly so it’s not obvious you have a screen protector, it doesn’t affect the touchscreen and I’ve dropped my phone and my phone screen has never crack nor has the glass protector! Also, if it does brake it comes with two more spares! Really worth the money.

Doesn’t cover the whole screen

I’ve bought JETech screen protectors several times before, for iPad, iPhones 6-8 - they’ve always been great. Strong, long lasting and totally scratch resistant.

But this one for iPhone XR just doesn’t fit well - it just about covers the visible part of the screen, and leaves a big (5mm+) uncovered portion of the glass screen all around the edge of phone (even with a silicone case on).

Sure it’ll prevent scratches appearing on the main part of the screen, but won’t protect it against chips and scratches at the edges.

The price is really good, so If you want something that does most of the job at a low price - this is a winner. For anything else, look at other options...

Easy to install but easily broken.

The first screen protector was extremely easy to install and having installed a few on several other phones, this was by far the easiest and cleanest install. The second one was a nightmare. Despite the dust sticker and cloth, dust was present underneath. (I can assume the dust was my fault though). What wasn't great is how well it stuck. The edges didn't stick like the first one so there was always a faint line around the outside and it did come loose twice.

Both these screen protectors have proven weak and broken with the slightest knock. The first protector was dropped on laminate and didn't break, then fell from a much lower height and cracked all over.

The second protector was dropped on a thick carpet from about 2 feet and the corner split off and cracked upwards.

Considering how popular this brand seems to be, the quality varies so much.

Honestly not great quality

The quality of these protectors are not great, not even good really, gave one to a friend and kept one, haven’t dropped my new phone, as of yet, but somehow the screen is already cracked, after 48 hours of use, the second one also broke easily, I don’t know the circumstances behind that one though, I gave two stars because the fitting of these couldn’t be easier and maybe it’s just a fluke that I got a bad batch, I don’t know, but I’ll probably go with a bit more expensive one next time.

Doesn't cover the whole screen and peels off

Installed this with the included tools and wipes. Was already disappointed when I found out that the screen protector doesn't cover the whole glass portion of the phone but rather only covers the part right above the LCD. This leaves huge gaps in between the sides of the phone and the screen protector where the phone can easily be hit and have its screen cracked. It's also a pain to use as your finger will rub against it each time you try to drag something from the edge of the display or you swipe up to unlock your phone. Not only that but it started peeling off from 1 side 2 weeks after its installation. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Poor compared to previous previous Screen Protectors

Having ordered other JETech screen protectors I happily ordered this one to protect my phone. However, I was really disappointed to see how poorly the new ones are made. Firstly, One of the protectors was already scratched when it arrived. I couldn’t send it back for a replacement as I needed to use the phone and had already applied one protector. Secondly, the protector barely fits the screen. I had read the information saying that there would be a small gap do to the shape of the phone, but this is awful. At certain angles the screen can ‘leak’ out around the protector creating a weird rainbow effect. Very distracting. Plus it feels that the phone isn’t fully protected.
Very disappointed.
Look elsewhere for a better screen protector!

Cracks and chips easily

I had one of these before and it cracked in 3 places, and chipped around the edges. I thought this was a good sign that it had protected my screen from similar damage. So I bought another one. This has cracked in less than 48 hours with only light use - no drops, impacts etc of any kind. Good job there were 2 in the pack - but I don't expect the next one to fare much better. I only ever broke a screen protector once - and that was through dropping my phone onto the patio, Other than that I've only ever had to buy new ones when I've got a new phone.
I'm stuck with buying and fitting my own screen protector whilst we're in lockdown but as soon as I can I'm off to the phone shop to get a replacement fitted. I won't be buying one of these again

Difficult to install

Installation didn’t work for me like it did on the video. On the first attempt, the dust removal sticker was my downfall - it left a sticky residue on the screen which was difficult to get off. When I eventually tried to flip the protector over, the bubbles didn’t magically disappear like on the video and I found a small hair was stuck to the middle of screen under the protector. Tried again with the second one and when I went to flip the screen the stickers both let go of the screen protector and I had to position it manually. So it’s now crooked. I’ll go to the Apple store to get one fitted next time - that lasted years.

Defect on screen protector causing bubble.

Bought a two pack of these. The first one was fine although broke in places when I dropped the phone which was as expected and the phone screen was fine. The second one, which I only recently installed, (just outside the 1yr warranty) has a defect on the glass which is definitely not dust and has caused a large bubble. When I contacted the company they refused to provide a replacement as it was just over a year since I had bought it. So now I’ve had to order new screen protectors which is annoying since this screen protector is effectively brand new.

Not very hardy

I am clumsy and drop my phone frequently so rely on a good cover, previous one survived for 2 years with daily drops but is out of production.

Scratches easily and cracks with no rough treatment

I bought this for my new iPhone 11. The installation was slightly more complicated than I remember with previous screen protectors I had used for other phones.
Once installed there were bubbles down one edge of the screen protector where it refused to stick to the screen.
I could forgive these because nothing is ever perfect to install with screen protectors.

In the first few days of use everything was great, the touch is perfect, the glass is perfectly clear.
Then after a week, scratches had appeared all over the screen, and then a crack appeared half way down the screen protector.
I have not dropped the phone or put the screen any where near any sharp objects, I am very disappointed as I have used this brand for years and have always had a positive experience until now

Too annoying to install

After two attempts of using up both screen protectors, I have wasted money and time trying to fit these screen protectors on my phone. The hinge stickers they come with do not work what so ever and I’m now left with air bubbles that are apparently supposed to go, which aren’t.
