Only got 9 pages, ( print coverage 60% of page ). Works out at £1.70 per page, a rip-off. The original cartridges that came with the HP Deksjet 3733 ( same size cartridges, same images ) I managed 19 pages!?

Bought this to replace the instant ink cartridges that were costing me a fortune, only to find that HP keep sending error messages to the printer - that have to be printed - saying there is a problem with my instant ink account. I'm now having to print constant HP messages that should be sent via email or through the app. If you disconnect the printer from the internet, it just stops working saying that the terms and conditions require usage requirements must be reported to HP. Although assured by HP that the printer recognises instant ink and non instant ink cartridges, I'm still getting billed £1 for every 10 pages over the instant ink limit, despite the fact I bought the cartridges and don't use instant ink so I wouldn't have these charges.

These claim to be original hp cartridges and although they look the same, when I installed it into my printer my printer let me know via my HP App that it was not a genuine HP cartridge ... The ink also ran out after printing 10 photos

I installed the two ink cartridges the black and white one only lasted one week then is was empty the colour one is now show a 1/3 full to me these were not full at the start I had to go buy two new cartridges from HP I would never buy ink cartridges from here again I will go to HP

I bought myself an HP Deskjet printer for uni, and it came with cartridges. I rarely do any printing, so I was surprised when my cartridges were showing up as empty on the printer display. I assumed that I must have printed more than I realised, so I bought replacement cartridges. They were very easy to install, so no problems with that side of things. However, after printing just 10 sheets everything was coming out so streaky and unsaturated that it was unusable (see above). Yellows came out white, burgundy came out pastel pink. After 25 sheets of printing, the cartridge was totally empty and I couldn't print any more. The box claims that you will get approximately 120 sheets from each cartridge, but this is blatantly untrue. I don't believe it was just this set that was faulty, because my previous ones also lasted me only around 25 colour sheets. The product is already expensive as is, so for it to only print less than a quarter of what it claims makes the pricing extortionate. You'd be better off going to a library and paying for them to print for you.

It's difficult to rate this, but after the first couple of sheets were printed the red gave out altogether....it may be an issue with the printer as they are keen to flog their own ink, but as this is the correct brand I cannot understand why it should give out so quickly.
Delivery was very prompt.

This is a genuine dual pack of HP 304 ink cartridges. One black the other tri colour.
Fits all standard HP 304 compatible HP printers.
The down side is price. Even though at the moment this is probably the cheapest you're going to find this item. For what's actually in the cartridges by what they say you can get out of it. Is sorely different. I got 70 sheets of paper printed over the estimated 100. Which is 30% less than stated.
Sadly the printer companies have you over a barrel (a big barrel of ink!.) If you can afford the monthly charge to get the prepaid contract if you use a set amount each month. Go for that deal. If like me I don't use much some months and a bit more on other months. You'll be stuck buying ink.

Colour cartridge leaked and did not work

The black cartridge is perfectly fine but the colour cartridge arrived in a creased package and when I inserted it into my printer it leaked and sabotaged the printer completely. Tried several times, it would only print parts of pages even in black and white. Had to remove the defective cartridge altogether, then was able to print b/w.

Dual pack - black & color. Packaging was more than adequate. X2 Original HP cartridges in sealed bags, inside a cardboard box - all inside an (amazon) padded envelope.

Very easy to install. Print heads are in-built (on the cartridges themselves - see pics). This means if one malfunctions or dries out - simply replace the cartridge & you have a fresh/brand-new print head. Tip: at least once a week - it helps to print a colorful picture - to ensure they don't clog up with ink that's dried up.

Value:

XL cartridges, are value for money (£ per ml of ink). I went for original HP cartridges as they work first-time, every-time.

Summary:

They work straight out of the box. New print heads with every cartridge. Prints are crystal clear & sharp. XL cartridges represent excellent value.
