The picture of Enzo I printed is is every bit as good as a professional photograph this picture has been printed on ordinary paper that you write on well worth the money with the HP printer

Diappointing amount of ink in tri-colour cartridge.

My printer recognised the cartridges immediately, but it inferred that they were not HP products despite the packaging. The tri-colour is described as producing 165 copies, yet after just ten the cartridge was declared empty. Give Amazon their due, they immediately replaced the cartridges, but the replacement only did 50 sheets before being declared empty, along with an email from HP who thought that they might be fraudulent. They look to be HP products, but perhaps a check is needed.

BE WARNED ……… Maybe its an ink thirsty printer (HP Envy Photo 7130) but with a advertised page yield of 165 pages the tri-colour cartridge has produced just 19 (yes nineteen) copies (mixture of prints and documents some in B&W too) and is now indicating less than 40 % remaining . The Black cartridge is showing less than 60% remaining. Does not seem very good value when one does ones maths!!!!!!!!!!!. Comments invited. Statistics have been provided from the printers internal reports system so are accurate.

Avoid if wanting to print photos. Printed 13 5x7 photos on low quality and it ran out would say thats expensive at approx £2.32 per photo. This is the 2nd time Ive brought these inks and its happened so not just a one off fault. Returned the 2nd lot for a refund. I expect a lot more from HP products always buy HP maybe time for a change recently it seems their quality has dropped. HP genuine INKS as well very disappointed HP customer

Colour doesn’t last long

Genuine HP cartridge, easy instal in HP envy 6230 printer and recognised first time.
The colour cartridge doesn’t last long 20 or so photos a4 photos on best quality.
Not sure if it’s the printer or the cartridge but once the colour ink ran out the black showed half full however a couple of days later dispute being shown as still half full the black printed with gaps and faded letters, cleaning didn’t help, bought a new set of cartridges and printed fine, will see how long these last and what happens with the black ink once the colour runs out.
All in all a total rip off by HP for the cost of ink, but you are stuck as there is no easy solution, none genuine carts can be hit and miss. A ploy to get you to subscribe to their ink scheme I think.

New, original cartridges worked perfectly, now not at all!!

Cartridges are absolutely fine and have a long date for use. Only problem is that my printer is cheap and slotting in the cartridges is a bit fiddly - my previous (more expensive printer - no longer available) was better made and cartridges went in like a dream. I find that original ink cartridges work best for me although I believe that ink prices are too steep. Previously I occasionally bought cheap replacement (non-original) cartridges but found they were not as reliable.
**Update Nov 2019: Disaster - all of a sudden the colour cartridge gives an error, "cartridge does not communicate". Tried cleaning contacts as recommended on the HP site, this worked very briefly (for one day), now refuses to work altogether. So basically I have wasted half the cost of this purchase. Either the cartridge is faulty or the printer (HP Envy 6230) so flimsy that the contacts to the printer now fail (or some other problem in the innards of the printer). Have wasted a lot of time trying to get it going, now given up, and vow never to purchase another HP product again as imho they are of very poor quality!! Hence downgraded to one star.

HP says it’s not genuine

Used it to bridge the gap due to a delivery problem at HP during my free ink subscription and in reading the cartridge code, HP said it’s not a genuine product. It worked well though and printed just as many pages as the HP shipped ones, can’t tell the difference. If indeed not genuine, then it’s quite expensive.

Bought this HP cartridge twin pack from Amazon on the 15/04/21 but did not put them into printer until 2/3 weeks ago. They did not work & thought the printer was at fault. Replaced with other new HP cartridges just in case the printer was at fault & printer started to work again: By definition, the new cartridges bought from Amazon on the 15/04/21 were therefor proved faulty. Complained to Amazon but nothing heard back? - New faulty cartridges (HP - supposed to be new) available to return to Amazon for faulty verification but heard nothing since my complaint?

Colour ink run out after printing 5 A4 photos

I installed the new colour ink and after printing 5 A4 photos I got a message stating ink empty / installed cartridge corrupt. I came on here to contact the seller but just got directed to the HP support site. I have purchased these inks from Amazon before and never had this issue.

Expensive and will not work

Everyone knows that branded printer ink is a rip off. However, you pay the extra cost because you want hassle free installation and printing. Unfortunately, this cartridge would not be recognised by the printer. I had to buy a replacement from the supermarket. Very frustrating.
