Cheap 75Hz display with some sacrifices

Pros:
-75Hz refresh rate for less than £100
-24inch panel
-VESA mount
-Joystick for OSD is very easy to use and convenient
-Tilt adjust
-Freesync

Cons:
-Not amazing image or colour quality (good enough for me though)
-Bezels are far too thick
-Rear shield for plugging in hdmi and power cord appears not be properly secured on my model and pushes into the monitor when I insert cables
-No height adjust and plastic construction doesn't look great, but does feel pretty sturdy

Overall:
For £90 it's a bargain for anyone who wants a decent monitor for gaming or general computer use. 75Hz and freesync at this price are hard to come by, and the cons listed are inevitable considering what you get for the price.

Sharp picture but shocking awful colour balance

Really disappointed with this screen. Picture sharpness is good but the colour balance is awful and can't be fixed by adjusting the settings. Has really poor white balance which can't be adjusted which causes the colour to appear washed out with a real lack of saturation. Even turning the brightness down you get this horrible over exposed back lit type effect. I bought to replace a 4 year old Acer screen which just gave up the ghost. Looked good value but reality is the price was too good to be true. I would give it a miss if I was choosing again. Guess I've just got to get used to it now.

“Clunky” interface with PC - colour not great

I bought this to replace a really old dell monitor which wasn’t up to the job anymore. On installation, colour isn’t great - looks “washed out” compared to a standard PC monitor.
Also it doesn’t go live when I switch my PC on. I have to flick the on-switch on the bottom of the monitor to see the PC. I have tried many of the options on the monitor to see if I can improve what I’ve got but it appears that what I have is as good as it gets. Wouldn’t recommend this as a great solution.

Bought this as I was sick of working from my laptop and wanted to set up a docking station without spending a fortune. It's easy to set up and looks good on the desk. The colour balance isn't great however and the contrast is too weak. This is probably reflected in the lower price. Good enough for home office but I wouldn't want to game with it!

I chose this monitor because I needed an inexpensive monitor that had height adjustment... 1/2 isn't bad. Fortunately Amazon customer service were quick to help. Otherwise, I plugged it in. It works.

It's good as a second screen for my office work but you will not fill the sturdyness.
It's very light and material may not be that standard.
Also there is no instruction,May be beacuse it's simple but i struggled to find few screws to fix the monitor with the stand.

The bottom quarter of the screen has a weird white fade to it. Also the monitor makes text look awful. I use it as a second screen for work and it gets the job done but I could never use it as a primary screen. Wouldn't really recommend this.

Arrived this morning and by evening have made the decision to return.

It's really quite a poor quality monitor for a modern construction and brand name.

The viewing angle is so narrow, there just isn't a position where the entire screen looks good. At best 30-50% is washed out at all times. It's particularly noticeable at night and with dark elements on screen.

Wouldn't say it was useless but I can't recommend this unit for any purpose.

Spend another £30-50 and get a much better quality monitor.

significant scroll bleed

At this price you do not expect a premium product but for reference.
1. I have the monitor set up in portrait mode, there is very noticeable colour bleed on scrolling.
2. Ref Landscape orientation. The top to bottom viewing angle is acceptable, the horizontal viewing angle is VERY narrow. This may o be a problem in landscape use but is significant in portrait mode.

Missing VGA/Flimsy Casing.

Product is good and connected well to both laptops. Sadly it did not come with the VGA cable as stated in the description. The casing around the monitor is not very sturdy so when pushing cables into the rear of the monitor there is a concern your pressing in on the wiring.

Due to this and the flimsy casing, only three stars.
