Good for sensitive skin

I have tried the Nivea moisturizing cream before this and it gave me really bad watery eyes and allergic reactions, so I got this one as it says it's for sensitive skin, this one does not give me an allergic reaction and works fine, there is a lot in it as well meaning it lasts a while and it was quite cheap. I use it every morning on my face and neck and my skin is a lot softer and smoother now.

USELESS! FALSE ADVERTISING! DON'T BUY!

Useless product. The advertising is completely misguiding. I have been dealing with ichthyosis all my life and have tried various lotions and products and I have to say this is worst one I have ever tried. My skin started dying up badly since I started using this lotion and has become irritable and itchy. Can't believe the Amazon rating, it has made me doubt it.
You wanna make money then make money but there some ethics involved even in the worst marketing game. You don't advertise be effective for skin conditions like ichthyosis and psoriasis when your product is no where near designed for it.
WORD OF WARNING PEOPLE! DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU ARE BUYING IT FOR ANY SEVERE SKIN CONDITIONS!
My top three suggestions for ichthyosis or extremely dry skin condition are:
1. Aveeno
2. Dove
3. Vaseline
Not necessarily in that order and check their very dry skin products.

Have been struggling for a year now with eczema on my hands. Tried other lotions but it hasn't really helped much. Since using this for the last few weeks, i've seen and felt a huge difference. In between my fingers would get so itchy, peely and sore. After just a few minutes of applying this, it immediately fades away! The redness also fades too so it looks so much better. I wish i'd found it sooner. Nice sized bottle too so it'll last ages.

If the 94% had whatever I've got, they would change their mind. This product stinks. Used E45 many times previously, I would never say it's a miracle cure, but I've never had an issue with it.

I've been using it the last 5 days and I've been wondering what the pong is, then I thought, the only thing that has changed is the lotion. I wondered whether it was out of date, but no it's got another 2 yrs. I know this is just a bad one off, usually there is no problems regarding the smell, but my wife says exactly the same, this is a very weird thing.

Great for my Keratosis Pilaris skin feels really soft doesn't smell I was surprised how light and runny it feels but moisturises much better than thick creams. I have sensitive skin that tends to break out in spots but this is good doesn't aggravate the skin at all

I've used this moisturising cream for years mostly for my tattoos aftercare and I really cannot fault it. It really is amazing stuff!

Provides excellent moisture, no scent, great for sensitive skin and just does an all round fantastic job :)
Always priced very well for large quantities.

There is another 500ml 'pump' bottle that looks slightly different but is selling for £10.99 on Amazon which I don't really understand why... It's the same amount of cream in a slightly different bottle but is £6 more expensive?? I just avoided that one and chose this one instead, it's exactly the same product in a more expensive bottle.

This is a okay, simple fragrance free moisturiser suitable for anyone. I have very dry skin and mild eczema and this unfortunately isn’t moisturising enough. It’s quite thin and watery so it spreads very easily but even if I apply it after a shower to damp skin I’m flaking again by the morning. If you are looking for an alternative try Vaseline Intensive Repair in the white bottle. It’s very thick, fragrance free and has micro-droplets of Vaseline to really hold the moisturise in your skin. You get 400ml in a bottle - Amazon sells it for a good price, Tesco sells it for £3 a bottle and Savers sells it £1.99! Make sure you get the white bottle as it contains no fragrance and is really good for eczema and very dry skin. This E45 would be fine for regular skin but for extra dry go for a thicker heavier cream.

I have been using this E45 moisturising lotion for many years. I am a massive fan of it. I have sensitive skin that is prone to being dry, not very dry just winter dry and occasional light flaky skin. I have tried many high end expensive lotions and creams. I find that creams make me sweat at night and others leave my skin sticky. This E45 does none of those. When I get the light flaking then I use an emollient prior to getting into the shower such as Ovelle's silcock's base. This was recommended by my dermatologist and it works really well. I love this lotion as it's light and easily absorbed with no stickiness afterwards. Delighted to have found it on Amazon as it hasn't been available in Tesco for many months. My dermatologist recommended lotion over cream as she said that lotion is light enough to be absorbed and that heavier cream doesn't moisturise it just gives a heavy layer of cream on already dry skin. I ordered 10 of these and they work out at €6 per bottle as opposed to about €9 in Tesco. Delighted.

I bought it to use it as a body lotion as my skin is really dry and I need to use a body lotion after every shower. Just used for 4 days now and here it has given very bad allergic reaction. I felt itchy sensation since I started using it and now for 2 days, I have got all these little pimples on my body. Extremely disappointed. I don’t just know what to do.

I have VERY DRY HANDS and v sensitive skin. I put moisturiser on my hands in bed just before I go to sleep so it can work overnight. Have used E45 CREAM in the TUBE ànd TUB which is FAR superior and works very well, ,really soothes and moisturise hand skin, doesn't sting like scented ones, but tube is expensive if you use it every night ,and having tub on bedside table can be messy, so thought I'd try this as it has an easy dispenser on top you can use without mess, I knew it wouldn't be as strong, but thought worth a try as was on special offer. When I use this on my hands before sleep at night the past jweek, I wake up,with REALLY sore dry hands and have to reapply during the night like 3 times in the night! as my hands are so sore, I even re read the lable thinking I may have got the moisturising hand wash by mistake! My hands were so dry and sore!!! I tried using the e45 tube a couple times to see the difference and no soreness on my hands it works great, this e45 moisturiser is VERY THIN WATERY and does NOT moisturise enough for me. Also makes hands sore. BUY THE TUBE OR THE TUB E45 SOO MUCH BETTER!!!
