Pearl Drops toothpaste

I have used Pearl Drops toothpaste for many years and have always been more than happy with the results it has achieved. However, the toothpaste I use now (PEARL DROPS Strong Polished White) is a totally different consistency to that of a couple of years ago. The original paste had a much firmer consistency resulting in a clean, fresh and beautifully polished finish. The toothpaste that is now available is much softer resulting in it dissolving to a liquid when you brush your teeth. I use an electric tooth brush with the current toothpaste and the process of brushing my teeth has become extremely unpleasant - the toothpaste spills out of my mouth as I try to brush and by the end of the two minute brushing programme there is virtually nothing left of the paste I started with, which is either dripping down my chin or already in the wash basin!
PLEASE, PLEASE can you go back to the original formula that was used. It was a little more expensive to buy but it did the job without any of the unpleasant mess!

This is a fabulous product for whitening. The only downside is the viscosity of the paste, it is far too runny.
Be extremely careful spreading this on your toothbrush and whilst brushing. I use an electric brush and it flies everywhere and stains badly.
In the small print on the tube and it really is small print, it says, “Do not swallow”. This really should be in much larger print. After just a small amount swallowed by accident, My throat was raw for 24 hours. Beware!

As you can see , pic on the left is the before. Right is the after.. not much difference in terms of whitening. Which is what this product claims to do! I've used an entire tube and this is over a 4 week period. Toothpaste also quite runny and drips everywhere, not the best. But it's only cheap

Not impressed, I have bought this product from shops when they use to sell it and it worked however the one I received from amazon has not shown it’s results my teeth are the same shade they was before I used the tube now that it’s empty I still have the same shade of teeth. Comes with a shade measuring strip .

He says the Pearl Drops make a very good cleaner for his stainless steel multitools. I suppose he has a point because at least they smell nice. So as the toothpaste works well cleaning metal, it's bound to clean teeth.

Great toothpaste but caused increased sensitivity

I’ve been using this toothpaste for approximately two weeks and I’ve already noticed a significant difference in the shade. My only criticism is that it has made my surrounding gums in certain areas tender, and I’ve experienced tooth sensitivity to hot and cold which I do not usually suffer with. I know this is common with many whitening toothpastes. As a result, I won’t be buying it again but I will use the tube up until it’s gone.

I’ve upgraded my toothbrush to this following a review of the “best” teeth whitening toothpastes. I have sensitive teeth and this product is fine for them.
Whitening - yes I think they have got a littler whiter. Though I am using this in conjunction with teeth whitening syringes so it’s hard to say if the toothpaste is contributing to the whiteness. I’m sure it can’t harm it though.

Great product and, when I bought it from Amazon, it was at a comparable price to the offer on at Boots. Now it’s doubled in price I’m not sure whether I’ll continue to buy from Amazon but I’ll definitely continue to use the toothpaste. There’s a colour chart on the side of the box so you’ll have a way of measuring success. For me, it worked.

Nice tasting product which does a good job of whitening - but since the new purple/blue/white tube was introduced, they’ve changed the consistency and it’s now FAR too runny. It’s quite a challenge to squeeze it onto your toothbrush without it dripping everywhere. Reckon the lab boys need to revert to the old formula!
