A bargain that actually does a great job

I am soooo pleased with this little hole punch. Every year after Christmas I make labels for next Christmas using my Christmas cards. I always struggle with my two hole punch to get the hole where I actually want it. Finally I gave up and ordered this. It’s brilliant! Made holes of about 6mm and I could position them exactly where I wanted them. It cut the card easily ( and some of the cards had glitter on them making them quite thick). It has a sort of black rubberised tray under the cutter which catches the little circles so you don’t get them all over the floor. You just pull the black tray down and tip the punch and they fall out. Such a good design. Being made of metal the punch feels sturdy but it’s small enough to fit easily in my craft box and feels comfortable in your hand. It also doesn’t take much effort to cut through card. I tried them in a sheet of paper (100gm) and it’s like cutting air. It managed five sheets no problems. I’m really pleased with these and they were an absolute bargain. I’d definitely recommend them.

Doesn't cut as many sheets as it says!

This is a good tool made with quality material, which produces consistent, 6mm holes. It cuts through one or two sheets of paper perfectly, but couldn't manage a few folds of origami paper. Once you get to a certain thickness, it takes a lot of pressure to cut through so it can really hurt your hands! I think if the tool were a little sharper it would be better.

However it does have a little container which stores the cuttings automatically, and you can empty it easily. A nice feature.

I have filofax type 6 hole file ....I made a card board template and pop that over 4 pages of a5.... and pop ... great ....budget option by far ... but only if you don't mind a little processing... its saved over £23 on a filofax 6 hole punch.... if you are in a hurry tho you'd better spend the money on the multi hole punch of your needs ...particularly for regular a4 paper as you can get a 2 hole punch for £4-5

I blame the Covid 19 pandemic for getting this. As I don't have a laser cutter or something luxurious like this, I have to watch my pennies but I was determined to help our NHS making face shields, the head band was 3D printed but the shield itself was acetate sheet. This tool was able to punch through 3 sheets at a time, any more than this and it would struggle and become messy. But it did the job.

Better than my old pair

Excellent. Does what it says! My old pair of Over 50 years which i inherited. They finally gave up and I had to get a new pair. This pair is great they even have a little plastic piece at the bottom to stop the paper flying over the floor when it’s punched! A great improvement!
