This Xylitol Sugar Alcohol stuff is very useful

I have some kind of weird Rhinitis, I've tried Everything! I mean Everything! There are some good creams out there that will tackle an infection. That's it! Don't bother with saltwater/saline washes etc etc, I've flushed and rinsed & stuck creams up my nose for many years.

This Xylitol stuff, is really very good, it worked for me straight away and so far the only side effect is slight sugary taste after you use it, and no or very little Rhinitis - Meaning I can breathe, don't have pain or discomfort, very few sores and scabs, even in the morning very little green/bloody mucus, my nose is 'almost' normal.

Been using this now most days for a while, still very effective, but occasionally, maybe once every 2 weeks I still have to use some nasal cream. One other thing I found to help a lot with inflammation is Turmeric supplements.

I got this as I have allergies and a blocked nose half the time. The Vicks spray works well for me, but obviously that's no good long term as your beak gets dependent on it.

But this, blimey. I can only assume this has a different effect on different people, given the number of positive reviews there are. It's absolutely useless for me. If anything it seems to make a blocked nose worse. It doesn't seem to be much more than oddly sweetened, slightly salty water, and my nose reacts with disdain. The hunt for something non-addictive that actually works goes on.

Way better than saline spray

I get bad hayfever and other allergies. I hate taking antihistamines as they knock me out so I prefer to use eye wash and nasal sprays. I've tried to use saline spray in the past but I always have a really hard time with it and end up feeling much worse.

This xylitol spray works so much better for me. I think the price is a bit on the high side but given that it's the only thing that works for me I'll keep buying it.

Xlear also do a sachet version but, although it works, it's such a faff because you have to use boiled water and if you want fast relief it takes too long. So I decided to just pay a bit more and get the spray and is much easier so I'll probably just get this from now on.

and I used Vicks, Otrivine and other spray that will make you addicted. Yes, this means you need to use them constantly every 8 hours,

This products it's not like this, it does not give you any form of addiction. You can use it as many times as you like, it's natural and it's a good remedy for sinusitis or rhinitis.

Next time I need to try Rescue and Max since I am so pleased with this one, I want to try the other Xlear produts too ;)

My mum suffers from sinusitis, rhinitis and hayfever so all year round she is blocked up, eyes watering and sounds as though she has a cold. She has suffered with this for years but as she was unable to use a decongestant because of prescribed medication, gave up on finding anything that helped. Saline alone was not enough and the steroid prescribed by the doctor caused a scab in her nose which would often bleed. I read about this in a magazine and thought I may be throwing good money down the drain but it worked!! As soon as mum used the first spray her nose was clearing and she was not in so much pain in the sinuses. A week down the line and not one single bout of blocked nose. She is really happy so will definitely purchase again.

For years I have had a problem with breathing through my nose. Apparently my left nasal passage is very narrow. I have relied on a series of prescribed steroid nasal sprays with Otrivine when I get into trouble. When I saw the number of positive reviews this product had got, I thought it must be worth a try. It doesn't work as well as Otrivine and is more expensive. For a start, I found that I couldn't handle the amount delivered by the measured dose pump, so it went down the drain.
