Eczema skin

Personally I think this product is amazing! I suffer with eczema around the eye area only which gets unbelievably sore inflamed and flacky so as you can imagine it’s not great for my confidence as it makes my eyes look really old which I’m not im only in my 30s. Have been using this product for only two weeks and right now all my symptoms from above are completely gone not even the feel of wanting to scratch, my skin right now is back to normal YAY! Anyone who suffers from eczema will know how important sharing about this is, so for me it’s my miracle cream as believe me over the years I’ve tried everything!!! This is working for me but may not work for everyone as everyone will react differently due to there skin. Thanku CeraVe!!!!

I've decided to write a review to address some things other reviewers have said. I rely on reviews a lot so I'm hoping this would help someone who happens to be like me :)

Seal - It has a very light white seal on the cover to the body that you'd hardly see and once you turn tears so easily you won't notice. I've put picture up. It doesn't have a foil covering in the tub. I also presume the movement from shipping is what lives the cream around and gives that "used out of" look. It is however the real cerave (at least the two tibs I've bought are the real deal and have produced desired results despite this less than conventional packaging). I ordered in the UK. Not sure if this same issue occurs in the US.

Moisturising - yes, yes and yes. I have very dry, scaly skin (I'm black African). This is the first cream I'll use that moisturises without feeling like grease or oil. I also use coconut oil which moisturises but is glistening and oily and yet still leaves the skin scaly after a while. Cerave doesn't do that.
Also the way it absorbs is almost miraculous. No matter how much you put on, it absorbs within seconds BUT you can feel the moisturising effect.

Value/cost - It is expensive if you have to use it more than once a day. I only use it after bathing in the morning so the tub lasts about 1 month.

It has no scent which seems to be a plus to most people. I would have loved a scent... Something natural and fruity like melon, coconut or mango but this is a personal preference not a strike against the product. The company may look into making those options? For those who want to moisturise but still smell sweet :)

All round GREAT product.

I had stress triggered eczema on my eyelids and hands but after the first two uses of this, I saw a drastic change (and no discomfort for using it even on my eyes!). Now after 4 days of using this cream, my eczema has cleared up completely. It helped with the flakiness next to my lips since the weather keeps getting drier. I'm very happy with this product purchase - excellent value for money. A definite staple for the winter.

I had the worst eczema flare up of my life and nothing was working, I'd heard about this cream from a few different places so decided to try it in desperation and I'm so glad I did! It is absolutely amazing, my skin loves it! It cleared my eczema up in about 5 days. It has no scent at all and it feels like a lovely thick cream but when you put it on it absorbs straight into the skin like a serum and is completely non-greasy. You can't tell you've put any cream on, it just makes your skin look great and feel soft. I was using it on my face at least twice a day and it didn't cause any spots, my face just looked fresh and clean like I'd just washed it. Would 1000% recommend.

The best hydrating cream I've tried thus far. I have extremely dry and acne-prone skin. This product has been miraculous in that it not only does not aggravate breakouts but also seemingly mattifies blemishes. Skin is noticeably soft and with a much-improved texture. This has promptly been recommended to several family members.
Suitable for fungal acne sufferers too.

Something to keep in mind: this product performs poorly under make up. If layered under foundation, it will start to peel off due to its thick consistency. The moisturizing lotion would be a better option for daytime usage.

I have used this cream for years. Just coming to the end of my last tub so I quickly ordered a new one via prime. Usually purchased from the local chemist but on the rare occasion I purchase off Amazon. Soon as I opened the box I noticed an issue. The seal was clean cut open?! Opened the tub and checked the smell and texture. The usual Cerave smell was missing. Placed small amount on my skin and it’s safe to say this is not the same miracle cream. I have sat and compared the two tubs and this new one is without a doubt a fake. Buy elsewhere!

Brilliant Moisturiser. Dries matte and skin feels nourish. I never understood why people spend a fortune on moisturisers when the active ingredients are silicones and useless ingredients. These one is full of Ceramides and ingredients that will benefit the skin. I love it, is my go to Moisturise.

Eyelid issues gone in one use!

I don't normally write reviews (mainly because I buy so much on Amazon it would be a full time job!) but I had to review this product.

Around 2-3 weeks ago I started getting very dry tight skin on my eyelids, and it started spreading down to my lower lid. I tried different moisturisers but it would only make it a little better overnight but then back to square one by lunch time.

I bought this after seeing it reviewed on someones blog. I am amazed. It has cleared up all dryness in one use! I can't believe it. The next night my eyelids were not even dry but I am still putting on a little so that it doesn't come back. There was a tiny bit of burning when I first put it on, but I think that's because my skin was so sore and the eyelids are so delicate.

So if you suffer with eyelid dermatitis / eczema I would 100% say to give this a try.

A scent-free moisturiser that's ideal for sensitive, dry skin

I think this is my holy grail moisturiser! I have dry skin and this moisturiser goes beautifully on, being absorbed quickly while leaving my skin feeling supple and hydrated. It's quite thick before application but it massages in nicely and only a small amount is needed. Unlike a lot of other moisturisers aimed at tackling dry skin, this one doesn't leave a greasy residue. I have super sensitive skin and fortunately this one is scent free so I haven't had any reactions. I also suffer from mild rosacea and I really feel this moisturiser has improved the redness around my nose.

I initially wanted to buy the PM moisturiser but the only real difference between the two is added niacinamide in the PM version, which isn't worth the huge price difference for me. I've stated adding a drop of niacinamide to this moisturiser during my nightly routine so it does exactly the same thing.

I was worried about some previous reviews mentioning unbroken seals but I ordered the smaller tube of this, rather than the tub, and it came with both the foil and plastic seals intact.
