Fantastic buy

Ordered this just yesterday (on a Saturday) and it's arrived before lunch today. Incredibly fast shipping. This is my first time buying Cerave after having read plenty of good about it online (especially on a subreddit dedicated to Skincare). I've just washed my face with it for the first time and my skin feels great.

I'll update this review later once I've tried it for a few days!

===UPDATE===

This has done absolute wonders for my skin, my spots are dissapearing more and more each day, and I'll definitely be buying this one again.

so when this is on my face it feels like i’m only rubbing moisturiser on my face it’s a unpleasant feeling after 60 secs of cleansing with this i dermaplaned my face only to find traces of dirt left and chunks of foundation. Very upset with this considering the price point especially!

Really great cleanser which I’ve used for some time now, I like it because it’s gentle on the skin and doesn’t give any stinging sensation or strong smell. My son who suffers with acne now also uses it and he hasn’t had any reaction. I’ve been using lots of Cerave products for some time and plan to continue. Highly recommend.

I always struggled finding the perfect cleanser for a my sometimes oily sometimes dry skin! then I started watching some skincare videos on Youtube and discovered this brand, apparently huge in the US but I would say still niche here in UK, anyway everybody raved about it being super gentle and not stripping and hold and behold they were right, just know that is not a foaming cleanser so if that what you're used to you might need to give a couple of tries to adjust, all in all big packaging + pretty affordable and does the job so a big yes from me :)

Love this, my second bottle. This gets off all my makeup and leave my skin soft not dry. Very moisturizing and gentle on your skin. I have sensitive skin and this is perfect for me, will be hard to find a face wash cleanser that will beat this. Will buy again and again love it.

I can't stress enough how much I LOVE this cleanser. The ingredients are excellent and very effective, especially the inclusion of the hyaluronic acid (great for hydration and "plumpness") and three ceramides (proven to help with hydration and sensitivity, whilst restoring and strengthening the skin barrier). The only thing I would love to see added is something like niacinamide or a stable derivative of Vitamin C for brightening and pigmentation (although both of these do benefit from being left on the skin, which is why I use serums with them in.)

I love that it is formulated without any irritating additions (unlike most "luxury" skincare) and no added fragrance, which is perfect for all skin types. Although it is fragrance free, the actual cleanser does not smell unpleasant. The bottle is very handy and dispenses a good amount with one pump (enough for a full face) without squirting everywhere, which is a bonus. The packaging looks very clinical, but honestly, I quite like that. My mum did say it looks like something a dermatologist would prescribe, which is funny because it was in fact my dermatologist who recommended this brand in the first place.

The cleanser itself is a light, clear gel which you can either rub onto your skin or onto a cloth. It doesn't lather up in my experience. I prefer to apply to my skin directly and then wipe it away with a dampened microfibre cloth to really get all the make-up and unwanted stuff off my face. It's a pleasant texture which isn't too thick or too thin, and spreads well. Afterwards, my skin never feels that awful dry, "tight" mask feeling that some cleansers give; instead, it is very soft and supple. It can easily get rid of all my makeup (and I wear a LOT), but I prefer to use an oil-based cleanser first for that, followed by this Cerave one in a double-cleansing routine.

I often have bad breakouts across my cheeks which become irritated and inflamed. I also have very sensitive skin due to an underlying medical condition where my mast cells are overactive. Due to these issues, I have a lot of trouble finding skin care which doesn't irritate my skin or make my breakouts worse. Luckily, this one doesn't! In fact, it has improved my skin significantly. I've been using it daily for about a month now and the difference to my skin texture, irritation and breakouts is staggering.

Plus, it's super affordable for the amount of product you get, and Amazon appears to have the best average prices from everywhere I've looked. As above, I have used it daily for a month (sometimes twice a day, especially if I spend a lot of time in polluted or crowded areas) and I still have plenty of my 236ml bottle left. I will, however, be purchasing the 1L bottle next time for even better value because I love this so much.

I highly recommend you try this cleanser (and the rest of the Cerave range, especially the moisturisers) if you have any skin concerns like acne, sensitivity or dryness.

Firstly for the people who did it’s doesn’t foam…the hydrating cleanser doesn’t foam because it is designed for dry sensitive skin, foaming cleansers are not good for dry or sensitive skin as they dry out the skin, foaming cleansers are good for oily, spot prone skin. Use the cerave foaming cleanser if you have oily or very acne prone skin.

For the scent yet again all cerave products are fragrance free..says it on the packaging!! Why would you want added ingredients in your facial products just so it smells, those added products that make it smell nice… your skin doesn’t need!! I personally don’t want extra chemicals on my face and just those that will really benefit my skin.

I have been Using the hydrating cleanser for 3years now and it really is good at helping my skin clear and hydrated especially when using there facial creams to after. Remember you will always get spots ect there’s sadly no cure for spots. Also one pump am and pm and the bottle will last months. I also use the lumispa facial brush which is amazing!!! Lastly keep
Using it till you finish the bottle and see how far your skin has come. I love it. I only purchase this product if it is sold and dispatched from Amazon as other sellers sell out of date ones or fake one.

Received this morning after ordering last night so super fast dispatch and delivery! I have used this twice now, once this morning when I received it and again before I hopped into bed. My skin is currently suffering because of the harsh and abrasive cold weather in the UK and is very VERY dry as a result. The skin on my forehead has been consistently flaky to the point where I will excessively pick at it. Using this in the shower was great, and it really softened my skin. It doesn't leave you feeling tight or stripped like a foaming cleanser would. I have been using the CeraVe moisturising lotion religiously for months now and I'm hoping that using these two together will save my skin. CeraVe products have never given me any issues, they also have no scent at all which really helps if you have sensitive skin.

It's looking promising so far - I'll update this review once I've been using it for a week or so!

UPDATE: Been using this around a year now and on my second bottle, I don’t use anything else to cleanse. My skin has never been better since swapping to CeraVe skincare. It feels much more hydrated and smooth, I might try the cream to foam cleanser next time!

I was looking for a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser that didn’t overstrip my natural oils.
This is one of the best cleansers that I have used as I have very dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. This has helped me a lot as the other cleansers I have used usually irritated my skin and worsened my acne. Also love the fact that this is fragrance-free as fragrance can irritate the skin and is totally unnecessary in skin products. Overall, I would only recommend to people who have dry/sensitive skin. Would definitely buy again!
